There was a question about Waylon Jennings I believe, and it was explained that there are strict annual performing requirements in order to be inducted.(26 shows per year).

They aren’t part of the Nashville corporate machine. They won’t be nominated for anything nor will they get radio airplay, except maybe a few truly independent stations. Sadly, that’s how it is now.

Same here! I cried too. It's gonna be a sad day for everyone when he plays his last show. I really hope they live stream it for everyone who isnt gonna be there. Its not gonna be same without him.

@mikahlabridges6473 ... here's a thought. If he doesn't value the privilege of being a member of the group, then it's possibly better for everyone involved if he moves on to his greener pastures. I hope he will land on his feet and take off like a rocket. Home Free will be fine. Better than fine as they always are. Austin is getting exactly what he wants.

​@justkaron Of course, but it doesn't take away from what was expressed. It's still sad for the of us who are particularly fans of Austin's voice in Home Free, but we also support him and fully understand that it's the best for everyone at this point. And of course it won't be the same without him, it would be ignorant to think it will be. There's of course also a fear that the new sound that comes with the change of a member as distinct as Austin, or any of the other guys, will not appeal to some of us. It's natural and normal.

Awesome video. I agree about Adam donating his hair. That is so great! I am a little sad about Austin leaving. I am happy for him though. I only became of Home Free less than a year ago, and love playing stuff when Chris was in it too, so I am looking forward to listening to Home Free's new member when he/she starts.

This interview was always going to be rather tense I fèel. The best of both worlds for the group and fans would have been,2 months on the road followed by 2 months at home.then every one would have been happy.So sad that this decision has been made.

Austin made this decision BEFORE having to leave his (potential) kids at home. It's gotta be tough for Chance and Rob...

What a peculiar remark. Like he isn't allowed to leave without his kids' birth certificates to show you. He wants off the road - why can't you just accept that? He is far from the first musician to decide that 10 years' touring is too many. Don't see why his leaving is worse for Chance and Rob - after this was filmed the band suddenly announced that he wasn't singing with them after June (without telling him - he had to find out from Facebook). Since then Chance and Rob have Unfollowed him on IG, presumably on management instructions. He has been devastated by the behaviour of people he thought were his closest friends but they pretty clearly decided to throw in their lot with management rather than their friend and sign the NDA. If that's how it is, he's better off without them.

Re Chance ... in all the videos he quickly glances st the camera and looks away. He doesnt play the camera like Tim and Austin hes not an "out there" person

You can tell Tim and Austin are the extroverts. All of them will occasionally say something but Rob tends to be more quiet in interviews and you can tell that Chance and Adam are not the talkers of the group.

Noticed how Chance looked down and away the entire time Austin was commenting about his leaving HF. I am not sure he was convinced that this was a good decision for Home Free's future, or he was being just melancholy about Austin leaving. Either way, HF is professional enough to find a great replacement for Austin, as Chance was replacing Chris.

In Chance new video which he said his favorite people are in I never once saw Austin or Amberley. All the other Homefree people and wives except Adam's but she is never in any videos.
