I’m tired of hearing complaints of Austin’s leaving. I am proud of him for making a decision that best fits what he wants for his life right now. It is all going to be okay guys! I am sure that whoever comes into Home Free will be a great addition, just like Chance was! ❤️😕❤️ Yes, he is an important part of Home Free, but so was Chris. What is important that these wonderful musicians that we love, can also live their best life. I am sure that Austin will not drop off of the face of the planet, and he will continue to do music. God bless you, Home Free! I love you all!

Austin's leaving doesn't= HF disbanding. They had already started interviewing for a new replacement to take Austin's place Before Austin even announced his departure. And 2 years ago HF announced that they would be doing less concerts and mess tours so that they could spend more time with their families. Have you missed all of their posts or do yu believe that they are lying to their fans on purpose?
@DawnLapka8 ай бұрын
@marytramp5678 No, I certainly don't think that HF is lying. Not sure why hate is being directed toward me, for asking a simple statement based question. If HF wanted to disband, or hire someone else, I would think it would be up to them, not their fans. I like listening to them because I like Barbershop music, my ex-husband, my son in law, and some of my uncles do barbershop music. It's a genre. HF does well enough at it that they became famous for it. Fame doesn't happen overnight.
@marytramp56788 ай бұрын
@@DawnLapkayou need a dictionary so you can look up definitions before you use them. No wonder your ex left you. yes i meant that to be mean. you obviously don't know the difference between hatefull and common sense or the difference between the a capella genre and barbershop genre. There is no "hate" directed at you. maybe incredulousness at your ridiculous statement. A statement that was no way shape or form based on a question. You STATED, " I hope that Home Free continues to find a way to keep making albums and doing concerts." If that had been anywhere close to being a question you would have needed to say something like, i wonder if... or will they...those are questions. your statement isn't even an insinuation. it's a flat out statement that they will not be making albums or doing any more concerts. bc they haven't found a way to do so. However, since you feel that HF is a barbershop then maybe they do need to disband. and do it ASAP. because HF is about as the farthest thing from the Barbershop genre as you can get.I beg you get a dictionary. just to let you know Barbershop is a sub-set of a capella. its based on a 4-part harmony barbershop seventh (1-3-5-7) cord. and uses no vocally produced instumentation. perhaps what you are believing to be barbershop is really barber beats. again something totally different than both barbershop and a capella. at best is a sub set of Barbershop but even that is highly disputed. If you have listened to HF you will know that they do Not always use a 4 part harmony and most of their songs use their beatboxer Adam for musical instrumentation and to set a beat for the music. Barbershop is alo fairly limited in the types of songs they can sing, Barber beats and a capella are not. this was a educational statement. even the mean part. just to make sure you understood the difference. i truly am sorry about you & your ex. having a marriage not work out is always hard. been there, done that, got a t-shirt that i ripped up and burned. felt i deserved a fur coat not a t-shirt! 🤣🤣🤣 may you have a blessed day.
@DawnLapka8 ай бұрын
@marytramp5678 That's a lot of hate, lady. I read a little bit of your rant, then said a prayer for you that you wouldn't want to attack people that you don't even know online. It's just a prayer, though. I'm always going to sense blessings in my life. You definitely don't need to bless me. Also, your "education," doesn't matter: what you said, you said. Why not disband all acapella groups that have climbed to fame? The use of terminology isn't relevant. It only applies if you understand that Barbershop groups use the same language to create the same music. The different Beat Box skills that some people can do is all that was added; acting skills, and dancing skills. If you're going to rip someone's "statement" apart, let me suggest that it's a bad idea, unless there's a higher purpose for it. Also, the question was implied. Do you know what implied means? It means that there may have been a question there, but it was not formal or formed into a question based on what the interpretation of previous news was. Getting angry or hurting others may be something that you like to do; it's not for me, though.

What about this: White Rose by Toby Keith, we want Adam Chance to take full lead, high harmony by: Rob Lundquit and collaborate with Home Free by Austin Brown, Tim Foust just used chest for the bassline.

A big smile comes to my face, because even though the weather is cloudy, gloomy and chilly here in the Netherlands, when I hear this song, the sun shines inside me. I have had tiring and emotional weeks, but then you suddenly realize what certain music does to you, in a positive way. And it's not just in the beautiful voices and the best beatboxing you have, but the total feeling you give. And I just want to say that although I find it very unfortunate, sad and I have some difficulty with it myself that Austin is leaving, I still understand. Here in the Netherlands there was a popular duo in the Netherlands (Nick & Simon) who had been singing together for 17 years and were going through exactly the same thing. Simon also had difficulty being on tour all the time, especially after corona, even at Christmas, etc. It just didn't feel good anymore. (although some say they had/are having a fight, which is not true😉) The having to do it became too much for him. So they broke up. They are both now working on their solo careers, but in their own way and pace.

Really sad to see austin go. i've been following this group since 2014. almost 10 years ago. tim foust is my idol, him being the inspiration for me as the bass in my acapella group at school at the time. but without austin's voice as the lead, home free will lose it's biggest sound and flavor. home free will never be the same without austin brown. but alas, i wish him the best for his future endeavours!. seeing this album re recorded is a huge nostalgia for me in my highschool years. thank you home free for re recording crazy life !

Im still processing Austin leaving. When Paul left Celtic Thunder I just couldnt listen to the new stuff without him in it. It is going to take someone amazing to take his place

Home Free blew this out of the water. Adam with his amazing beat and Austin just putting his heart and soul into the song. The wind was really blowing hard when they recorded this video.
