I moved to US young and watched this movie in theaters during my first visit back. When I watched it, I felt really emotional but audiences in the theater including my Indian cousins were sleeping or complaining. Hope when it re-releases, it can really cause the stir as Lagaan did.

I always felt that in order to be main stream superstar and desire to be commercially successful, SRK never did justice to his own gift of subtle acting he is capable of. Swadesh and Chak De are two movies which highlight this unused gift of him. I pray SRK would understand that at this point of his career, he doesn’t need Jawan kind of movie. He should look for greatness and go towards becoming legend 🙏

First watch KHKN Darr baazigar anjaam devdas dil se mnik Asoka paheli fan Raees Pardes yes boss Baddshah Mohabaatein kal ho na ho veer zaara rnbdj etc these all films required proper and class acting he is one of those stars who can do character roles as well as heroic roles and jawan was also A great film only pathaan was an avg film but Jawan and Dunki were great films change your perception towards cinema and acting then comment anything he is a fantastic actor and there is no doubt about that

Actually Aamir & Salman have done more musical romantic films than SRK. Check their filmography to know whether I'm right or wrong. SRK is basically an offbeat theatre actor who is very unconventional, not a typical chocolate romantic hero like Aamir & Salman.

In my opinion if we are going to make another movie which has a plot like Swadesh then the mohan's character would be, he has developed charanpur till now, and he is taking help of his friends from US and developing new technology at VSSC. We can show kids of Mohan, they are intelligent like mohan. we can take some characters from Swadesh movie for continuation. Mohan's era is limited to work what he is doing, we are not portraying his character like he is the leader of any village or town, he is just doing his work and inspiring people to work for the country.

Bro, Swades's script couldnt have been better. It was kept simple and yet deeply nuanced to make us feel what Mohan is going through and what he feels as he explores through his trip to India. Its script never travels towards a certain climax but captures his journey and observations as it moves forward, and then builds upon it, thats what makes this movie special and masterclass. Its beauty lies in its simplicity.
