I feel like the middle class MAY have existed up until the financial and housing crisis of 2007-2010 I grew up as a teenager in the early 2000s and my family was still doing well (even with a single Mother) but after the financial crisis I got sick with a rare disease and I’ve only done worse and worse each year smh
