Can you even imagine having this happen in your home when the offender didn't even live there?

Watching her cry while the husband says “she has a little poke on her neck…” my heart just breaks for her… I know she killed her baby, I know I should have no sympathy… but look at the scar on her neck! You don’t get that from “a little poke” … the woman was 100% abused by this man and I feel so sorry for her. I’ve been abused and listening to him continue to downplay her while she’s also potentially dying is just heart breaking. She probably was trying to end the abuse for her and her baby.. they were found holding hands dying. 💔 While she was wrong in the way she chose to go about getting away from him… it’s still just heartbreaking all around.

I totally see why you feel that way. I'm just starting this trial- I'm going in with no background info. So far, I feel the same as you do. I think she felt suicide was her only option, but she didn't want to leave her baby behind. By all accounts, she was very attached to her daughter and took good and loving care of her until this tragedy...Clearly she couldn't bare her life anymore. I'm sure she thought death would = no more pain and sorrow. Her mindset of "bringing my child with me" was likely "justified"- to an extent, in her mind (and her mind was not okay at the time) because she imagined them going somewhere free of all suffering. Watching this just makes me even more grateful that I managed to veer off to a better path in life. There were many things they said about Chloe and how she was at 16 up until this toxic/brainwashed/abusive relationship that I dealt with too. Not to mention mental illness being untreated.. isolation...I am NOT saying I excuse the fact that she murdered her beautiful daughter, I'm just saying you can see (even now) how broken this girl is. Abuse and mental illness 100% change the brain! This is absolutely heartbreaking so far. 💔

@ I completely agree. 💔. Most of the cases I watch I see zero remorse from the people standing trial. This girl is the complete opposite. I bet she wishes every day it was her daughter that got to live and not her. Just so heartbreaking. This guy testifying literally speaks of them basically kidnapping her and her trying to get away and people trying to help her escape. That poor girl, she’s so young too.

@@doseofdopeness3308 I don't see any scar, I don't feel sorry for her. She took out her own baby. No sympathy my father abused my mother she never thought about killing me, the time she left is when he started threatening us children! She got out right away!! This woman is evil and a spoiled brat. U are probably a very nice sensitive woman and it's national for u to think emotionally bc u have a soft heart. ❤️

@@3vollady437me too! I also recognize Harris, the digital evidence expert. I like her, I was mad when the defense & the Judge picked on her unnecessarily in the Farris trial. She is so intelligent, just because they didn't understand the new tech they pretty much bullied her.

I think it had more to do with really needing to clear his throat. He made a half attempt when he first got on the stand. It makes me think he's a smoker, has a disgusting cough, and frequently spits. That's an assumption, though.

I’m not that far but by accident do you mean she corrected it or shouldn’t have said she was the longest surviving wife

@@Jfurgit implies that he had other wives that didn’t survive the marriage. I don’t know if that’s true but since he’s an abusive cult leader polygamist it seems not unlikely that she is his longest “surviving” wife instead of just his longest wife

My God!! 🤦🏾‍♀️ The number of times the female prosecutor says “Umm….and” between her questions is mind-blowing! 🤯 It’s crazy how many Attorneys, whose job it is to ask questions for a living, can’t manage to string two sentences together without saying “Umm”, “and”, or both! I understand doing it every once in awhile, but this lady literally says it after EVERY SINGLE SENTENCE! UGH….SO FRUSTRATING! 😤

I'm assuming because it would be easier to hide or prevent the owner of the house or anyone else from seeing her with a knife. He was in the kitchen with his back towards her.
