I didn’t know much about teemu till he joined Megadeth. From what seen so far he looks very very very good guitarist. I dare say you could be right if was free rein on next album I think we will hear some amazing stuff.

Glad to see teemu getting more comfortable in front of camera, already cant wait for the new album! It will be a beast forsure, my guess is they will start recording new material after this summer tour ends

Nah. They'll start seriously writing new material after the tour. They'll only record middle next year. With so much touring this year they won't get a lot of writing done, let alone recording

But if they start recording after the next tour we might hear something next year bcuz they said in a few interviews they are writing new material, whenever they can, and i think they wrote youthanasia or countdown while on tour so its not so unlike them.

First time I hear the guy giving an interview - sounds great, I like his attitude. But anyway, he is still (relatively) young and I'm happy that his journey took him to Megadeth at this stage. I'm really looking forward to a new Megadeth album with Teemu, which will hopefully happen at some stage.

Saw Megadeth live August 10th, 2024. They fuckin ROCKED it! Teemu did an amazing job. Luckily I was in the front and got to see up close how Teemu and Dave play. It was surreal!! 🎸

I loved that he asked about teemu's personal catalog of music he has written. I've followed him since I discovered wintersun in 2007 and couldn't stop watching his playing in videos I watched. He is definitely one of the greatest guitarist of our time and I would love to hear a project of his own come to fruition.

Just saw them last week, they played really well, and Teemu was so smooth. He is DEFINITELY qualified to be a Megadeth lead. Given some time he could be the best, he has the potential.

When a pro musician talks about that behind the scene megadeth is a big machine, and then you realize they're kind of a medium player compared to like metallica and pantera and slipknot and the like, it really puts into perspective how different the music industry is for people who weren't around in the pre internet era.
