I left Catholicism for Islam. I believe I fell for the community, it was only for a year, I didn’t feel it was right when praying like them, I was just happy I was made feel like I belong. I wasn’t really Catholic though, I didn’t do my confirmation, didn’t read the Bible, so I never really knew Christ. I’m now going through catechism in the Orthodox Church, I have read some of the Bible (still working through it) and I am now in love with Christ. I am somewhat knowing of him. Your allah has 2 right hands and one chin. *so God the Son, the eternal Word, the Messenger and Angel of the Lord was sent by the Father to ransom us from our sins and restore us back to the Father. Jesus, as a man, prayed to the Father for strength to endure the cross for our sake. Jesus prayed to God the Father that His human will not be done, but the Father's will. Jesus voluntarily laid down His life not to appease the Father but out of love for mankind, to restore us back to our pre-fallen state and to reconcile us back to the Father and restore communion with God. And that Jesus is the only Son of the Father full of grace and truth, the eternal life who was with the Father and one with Him before ascending to earth to defeat death out of His great love. The blessed mother Mary voluntarily and freely said yes to the Father to be the ark of Salvation carrying God the Word in her womb. Sam, Indonesia may be where the largest Muslims are but it's interesting that Indonesia do practise freedom of religion and Islam is not tied to a person's race/ethnicity... This is unlike in Malaysia where by the federal constitution, the definition of a Malay is in being a Muslim (two others are habitually speaks Malay & practise the Malay culture).
