Theres a difference between Loving Jesus and Fearing God. Like pastor said you will be held accountable for the knowledge God has put in your heart. So if you continue to sin knowing its wrong, not only do you have no Fear of God but you have no control of your flesh and this battle is a spiritual battle so you wont defeat your sins unless you rely on God spirit which is His perfect strength in your weakness.💟🙏🏼🙏🏼✝️

That knowledge is given to *every* heart. It's called the "Natural Law" (not to be confused w/the law of nature) that should guide your conscience, seperating right from wrong, reasoning. Most Protestant denominations called it a myth a while back, because it was taught by the Catholic Church. Some Protestant Denoms as of late have been wrestling with it, and a few have now accepted it. Is it in the Bible? Yes,I t is: Paul writes to the Romans describing Gentiles who do not yet have the law but “do by nature what the law requires,” saying that they prove that “what the law requires is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness and their conflicting thoughts accuse or perhaps excuse them” before God (Rom. 2:14-16).

@@gabepettinicchio7454that’s right! This is my favorite response to this. We may be earnest and honest, but we must be OBEDIENT to Gods word! The law he gave Moses and the implications of the law are written on men and women’s hearts! Whether saved or unsaved, they are given that Law! They are expected to keep that Law! If the Law was given to a few, why would we all be expected to keep it? Jesus Christ died to give us Grace in adherence with the Law, for it is written “Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given. 17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ” (John 1:16-17). The law is still the law, and how can we call God the Lord of our lives yet not do what he says (Luke 6:45-46)? That is the point. These charlatans of Christianity use the same nonsense they used for its entire history to cause that in you which is fear of God and fear of hell. As long as they can make you afraid, you can be under their control. That is how Christianity was spread. Oh, and the whole "convert or die" method as well. They are basing everything they discuss on the bible which is one of the most unreliable books to read on earth. A math book has more consistency.

So good to see George getting the simplicity of the Gospel. Our righteousness is as filthy rags to the Lord. We have nothing we can bring to our salvation except our sin which condemns us and our faith in Christ which redeems us through the shedding of his precious blood on the Cross. Praise Jesus.
@steviacandyman78923 ай бұрын
Oh yeah, look how "simple" the gospel is. Millions of people have died over it, millions more died because they believed it falsely, and almost 2 billion currently believe some version of it, which almost never agree with each other. Your human sacrifice scam doesn't work if you bothered reading the old testament which says Yahweh would never allow a person to "pay" for someone else's sins.

Sure we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus' blood and not of works lest any man should boast...however we still need to be obedient to God for the completion of our salvation. We'll trip and fall and in those cases we repent and ask Jesus for forgiveness. Regarding works, we will be judged according to our works, God created us to do good works, we just can't think that any good work is good enough to cancel our sin debt, only God, the Son can.

This was a great conversation! I’m always questioning if I’m “good enough” to make it to heaven. And I’m not. I’m a dirty sinner and there’s nothing I can ever “do” to make it into heaven. But His grace is sufficient! Amen!!! With that said, willful sin is what will do a lot of people in. You said you know having sex with your girlfriend is wrong, and therefore you take accountability for it. God forbid, if today was your last day, where would that lead you? The willful acts of sin should be avoided at all costs! If you know that by having sex with your girlfriend goes directly against what God intended, then stop putting yourselves in a position to want to be intimate. Don’t go to each other’s apartment and cuddle up on the couch. We all know how easy it is for one thing to lead to another. Wait for marriage! It’s not too late to stop, just because you’ve been doing it. It can still be special if you wait. That’s my prayer for you both! Make it special. Make it what Christ intended 🙏🔥

”And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’“ Matthew 7:23 This verse has been interpreted many different ways. I read that verse and immediately am reminded of Televangelists who are doing good works publicly but are actually workers of lawlessness, who do not believe in God or worse have a God complex.

How do you know they don’t believe in God? Blessed are the poor in spirit
@unsolosirviente5464 ай бұрын
@@Andrew-pv8ozthey believe in a god of their own liking and imagination. If they truly believed in the God of the Bible, they wouldn't dare pervert his words, much less for their own self gain.

@@unsolosirviente546 so you don’t think it’s possible they are just flawed humans who misinterpret the Bible, but still believe in Jesus?
@unsolosirviente5464 ай бұрын
@@Andrew-pv8oz we are all flawed humans and all of us have at some point misinterpreted the bible at some point. That's not the issue, the issue is that when they are rebuked they either go back to their false teaching (doubling down) or intentionally misinterpret (both the Bible and someone rebuking them) to GAIN FOR THEMSELVES. That is not someone who follows Jesus Christ, plus anyone can believe in a Jesus, the question is which Jesus?

The irony of this comment is that By making such a bold assessment of these televangelists, YOU have made yourself God.

God can make himself known to people in their dreams. I've heard testimony from people about that.

Your right. Your works or only a byproduct of being saved. I believe repentance is a big part of being saved. Baptism is a public declaration of your faith and it is an appeal to God to be cleansed or as the Bible puts it an appeal for a clear conscience.

George I hope that you get to read this. I would love as a fellow Christian to come in and have a similar conversation about the topics y’all discussed. I love the questions you asked especially about those who don’t have access to a bible etc and will those people go to hell because they didn’t know Christ? I think the Bible is fully sufficient and there is some good scripture that we could go to. Love you brother 🙏
