Here is a very simple but beautiful girl plucked out of her near poverty life in the province working as a lowly maid and was discovered and dressed like a princess but still remains humble and down to earth. You must be mad not to love her. She is a winner already. And if she gets the Miss International title she will be an effective spokesperson and role model for the poverty-stricken towns in the Philippines. Love her.

After she was discovered by a gay handler in Narra, Palawan she joined a modeling contest in Puerto Princesa. The winner is a half-half beauty, but Janicel look exotic. I told the organizer/beauty queen maker "May mararating ang batang yan." She's sixteen therefor not eligible to join a city beauty contest. After sometime, I heard that she joined and won the provincial pageant, Mutya ng Palawan 2012. After which she won the 2012, Baywalk Body bikini open contest. Next, she won Miss Bikini Philippines 2013 contest and First Princess to Megan Young, in the 2013 Miss World - Philippines beauty pageant.

Kung tinagalog nyan yun, " Matangkad na talaga ako nuon pa ..." Di nga Tagalog ang main dialect duon. Parang fusion ng bisaya at Tagalog. I was in Puerto 2+ years ago. Very nice place and the people are nice. They don't even have cops roving their town at night . As in zero crimes . Pwede siguro mag retire duon.
