I had the chance to sit down with animator, storyboard artist, and voice actor Niki Yang to talk about Bravest Warriors, Adventure Time, and all things animation. You may know Niki from her voice work as BMO and Lady Rainicorn on Pendleton Ward's Adventure Time. She has worked in animation as a storyboard artist for shows such as Family Guy, Adventure Time, Fish Hooks, and Gravity Falls, and she's currently working on Cartoon Network's upcoming new animated series "Clarence."

Outsourcing happens because of a difference in labor cost, not quality, between nations like the US & nations like South Korea. In short: people like Nikki come to the US to make more money in their respective industry and take advantage of the benefits that come from the US's colleges (the H-1B for example) and capital (I guarantee you that Frederartor's parent company pumps more cash into shows like Adventure time than a Korean studio in Seoul could ever hope to.
