Arthur was a great OC in Tennessee. Had an extremely efficient offense that was 4th in scoring, 5th in yds, 2nd in rushing, 23rd in passing (7th in yds per attempt). Didn’t do very well as a head coach, but certainly didn’t help having a washed Matt Ryan, Mariota, and Ridder which really limited what Arthur could do in the passing game. When he had Tannehill, he went from a mediocre player to a very good top 10-12 QB. Let’s hope he can do the same with Pickett.

If you actually watched Falcons games you'd know that he was great scheming the run but his pass scheme was terrible and that's a critique from experts that broke down the Falcons offense all last season, also his situational play calling was atrocious at times and it seemed like he just refused to adapt. Maybe he'll be better as a OC but he was a mediocre head coach
@houseofclouse15099 ай бұрын
@@jonathanchilds3657 I’ve seen plenty of Falcons games, I live in the southeast so they are always on Fox, and you are correct regarding his situational play calling, but his pass scheme is not bad at all, Ridder just doesn’t have any accuracy and throws a lot of turnover worthy passes for no reason. I think his biggest mistake was not using Bijan more in the red zone especially early in the season. He led some of the most efficient pass offenses in Tennessee when he had a competent QB. Ridder and Mariota are both bad starting QBs, it’s hard to have an efficient pass offense with guys who both have accuracy issues and lack natural play making ability.
