Phil deserves another chance to reunite with AC/DC. Phil will always be a part of the AC/DC legacy. I see a humble side of Phil in this interview..glad he got clean, good luck Phil we're looking forward to seeing you unite with your band mates!!

What are you talking about? What band mates? Axl Rose and Stevie Young are not his band mates. AC/DC has ended in april 2016 when voice of AC/DC for 36 years left. Now it's only Angus, but 1 guy is not a band. In 2 years (2014-2016) Malcolm, Phil, Cliff and Brian left AC/DC, this band is over...and I'm the biggest fan since I was 14 so this is half of my life, I don't cry but when I found Malcolm passed away I cried like a little wimp. AC/DC 1973-2016 R.I.P.

@@layman1194 Dude I have seen you in about 50 different comment sections. Why are you watching a Rudd interview if you don't appreciate his drumming? Just shut the fuck up you god damn fanboy. Nobody gives a shit about Chris, even though he was a halfway decent REPLACEMENT. He is not THE drummer for AC/DC and never will be. If he was so good then why do AC/DC keep dropping him? Because he drums like old people fuck that's why. So how about you just shut your damn mouth.

4:54 - 5:08 - I don't believe I had ever heard such honesty from any of the remaining original members of AC/DC as to their feelings of Bon and his influence in the band. Only now it seems the world is understanding that Bon Scott was actually a rock music genius. Not only in Australian rock music, more so the entire world. I'd also like to add Bon Scott was way much more than a rock genius. Only those who knew him on a more personal level can ever attest to his true nature and characteristics. The man was highly intelligent and had a real genuine empathy towards people few peers ever had. Bon Scott was genuine Australian salt of the earth. 100% NO FRILLS. No B.S. with Bon Scott. He was so straight up. No hidden agendas with Bon Scott. He didn't suffer fools and I bet he came across more than a few of them in his short but full life. I believe the world needs to be told the truth about Bon's death other than the repeated B.S. that it was primarily alcohol. So not true!

Couldn't agree more mate. I never liked Slade in AC/DC. The double live album 'Live at Donington' was terrible due to Slade's inability to keep time. Harsh words, I know... It just highlights how important Rudd's impeccable timing and swing is to the overall machine that is/was AC/DC.

Phil always looks sad or bummed out even when he's trying to look happy. Must have had a real tough life in spite of being in the greatest band of all time and probably THE most solid rock drummer of ALL TIME. I've always enjoyed what he did with his drum parts. He made simplicity on drums fun and he was excellent at writing drum parts while at the same keeping Malcolm happy with what he was doing. Malcolm I am sure, told him to keep it simple. But Phil did it with the ultimate coolness. Dirty Deeds verse part comes to mind.
