Whether it is the Tangkhul's, the Nagas of Manipur, Nagas of Nagaland or Nagas of anywhere.... I believe NSCN IM is negotiating for the best of the Nagas. Let us not always hate a tribe or a group just because they belong from a particular tribe we dont like or a particular faction he dislike. If we are to only look at them from this angle, we will endlessly create only negative energy , opinions or write-ups. Whose TRIBE is so perfect or which faction didn't kill anyone or hasn't killed anybody??? Just because of extreme hate towards a particular tribe, individuals or group... Let us not forget to appreciate the little good things people are doing and engaging for the Nagas. I am from Nagaland and i appreciate any group that stands for the cause of Nagas as a whole and not Nagas of any particular region or state for this is a Naga Cause and not Nagaland State Cause alone. @Komorebineeded8 ай бұрын
Mr. Deputy, we get that NSCN are fighting for Naga independence which is a worthy cause. But could you please tell your workers not to go around intimidating people (especially elections with armed gunmen inside the polling stations threatening voters to choose NPF candidates)? Can we also expect NSCN members not to ask for money in the name of their cause? You shouldn't force people to believe in or follow something just because it is considered to be in the interests of the community.
@musicheals.39978 ай бұрын
I agree with the election thing but about the collection of money, it will not be possible to run the organisation without financial support from the citizens like how a country implement taxes in all fields. The problem is about the misuse of the funds. I agree they need finance to run the govt. but they should utilise it for the betterment of the nation or the people and not for the personal or individual benefits.
@Komorebineeded8 ай бұрын
@@musicheals.3997 You can request people to help but you can't force them to fork out a certain amount each month or in the case of richer folks a big sum as and when these guys want. While others are struggling to pay them, the NSCN members send their siblings or children for education outside the state with people's money. More importantly, we should be looking at what kind of people join NSCN or other such organisations? In most cases, we find that it's the ones who are not good at studies and therefore do not want to continue doing so. They know then they will not find suitable jobs with good money. But if they become part of such a movement, it gives them easy money. Another reason is a lot of them want to feel powerful and weapons give them this false sense of being in charge. How else do you explain so many people with guns walking around like they own the world? Take away their guns and they will stop acting like thugs. Does that mean I don't support the independence movement? I would very much like to have a unified independent Nagaland but we have to be smart and practical about it. First, we are not even united. Nagaland Nagas look down on Manipur Nagas. Second, our people are lazy and materialistic. We are invested in looks and fashion but we have zero brains and we aren't willing to work hard. Some people in India don't even know we exist. We can't even compete with Indians. How are we going to make a mark in the world? Third, after we get independence, what's the plan? Who will be the PM, President or ministers? Are they going to be elected or selected fairly or from the NSCN cohort? If it is the latter which they might feel entitled to, how can they assure us they deserve it? Like I mentioned earlier, most of them are dropouts and power hungry. Look at Punjabis and Gujjus. They are settled in many other countries and they have managed to become such powerful and Influential communities through hard work and unity. Why don't we achieve that first?
@Komorebineeded8 ай бұрын
@@musicheals.3997 While I agree they need money to fund the cause, but it should be the people's discretion whether they want to contribute or not.
@ngullieom54608 ай бұрын
Reportedly the NSCN never take money from GOI to meet its expenses including expenses incurred in the Talks. Whereas it is the only organization which is steadfast and firmly engaged in the political negotiations. If NSCN fails due to non co-operations of the people in matters of aiding in funds, then the Nagas will become like slaves under the outsiders. We must overcome through unity and respects. Kuknalim
@Komorebineeded8 ай бұрын
@@ngullieom5460 First, I disagree with this whole notion of slaves under India. Yes, I get that we are treated poorly and I resent that too. But we must accept that our people are lazier than most mainland Indians. If Punjabis, Tamils, Gujaratis can move to Canada, US, Australia and UK or other places and work so hard that they can become PMs or Ministers and change the social economic and political status quo, why can't Nagas do the same while we're still living as Indians? Parsis are such a small community but they are doing very well for themselves. They aren't slaves. So why should we live with this mindset that we are inferior? Secondly, are the NSCN workers really fighting for the cause or do people just join the organisation because they are either 1) too lazy or too dumb to study or to work regular jobs or 2) they want to wield guns and feel powerful? Third, do we know for sure that all Nagas are a 100% behind this movement? Given the current scenario, it is possible that many people do not see a peaceful solution and a progressive future for Nagas. They might want to continue living in India. Should their views be dismissed just because it doesn't ally with the movement? Fourth, what's the plan of action if and when we get independence? All this talk and fight will come to nothing if we are not prepared for what happens after. Do we have unity across all tribes? Nagas themselves are a very divided lot. How can we trust that some bigger tribes will not try to eliminate the smaller ones? Nagaland Nagas also do not even consider some Manipur Nagas to be Nagas. So where would that leave us as a people? Do we have strong visionary leaders like Lee Kuan Yew to take us forward? Do we have able and far-sighted people who can lead the country during the initial years of turmoil and strife (which is bound to happen whether we like it or not)? Can we trust the NSCN or other organisations not to forcibly push their agenda or people on us? I'm sorry to say but the way NSCN abused their power to force people to vote for NPF in the last few elections (state and parliament) is an indicator they are being authoritarian. How can I or anyone then expect them to be fair and inclusive when we get independence? Are there enough business leaders among Nagas who can create strong and global companies? Do we have a strong infrastructure that we can build upon? Can we create a bright future for ourselves like Singapore and South Korea or will it be like South Sudan? Don't get me wrong. I would very much like to have Independent Nagaland as much as NSCN or any patriotic Naga. But I think it is wise to be practical, humble and prudent. I also think we need to work diligently as individuals and as a society so we can create a strong future generation who might perhaps lead us into the promised land.

Why is the frame work agreement not in the public domain?
@AlieNaga8 ай бұрын
It is not in a public domain and they are still claiming that they are working for naga people. I don't think so
@zayieshuya62168 ай бұрын
Framework agreement was made based on separate flag and constitution for greater Nagalim which includes all the Naga territorial land from Manipur, Assam, Arunachal, Myanmar under the union of Naga Nation. Apart from that, thus far, Naga people and its Naga Nation country man can extend their support in external affairs to India as a friendly and neighbouring country to them. Therefore, the ball is in the hand of India or either is up to the Nagas to decide our own future. This is it.
@AlieNaga8 ай бұрын
@@zayieshuya6216 Thank you. Every Nagas knows the cover of framework agreement but not the inside. Your writing is based only on cover. People who signed this framework agreement knows the inside and they are not willing to unveil. Don't judge by its cover.

Come on! Im not here to argue..i have just highlighted their agendas that was written based on framework agreement.....Otherwise, since 14 August, 1947 the Nagas have declared a sovereign Nation but infact, by circumstances we are compel to be under Indian union @@AlieNaga
