hello sir thank you for this wonderful lesson. there are some points which i actually want to comment on:- first of all, many critics have noticed shylock as either a victim or a villain but i feel he is in between a villain and a victim. the reason why i say shylock might be a villain is because how much ruthless he must be on taking a pound of flesh from antonio's heart. from there i could actually feel the pain. even when antonio's boats were destroyed, shylock was happy that now its the time to take revenge on the christians saying the very famous lines "hath not a jew's eyes? hath not a jew's heart...." and how he said that he has the right to avenge him. but with the wit of portia telling shylock not to drop a single drop of blood was smart enough. but in the other way around, i feel pity for him too. jessica, who was shylock's daughter, ran away with her lover and she stole his wife's jewellery for a monkey. when portia told him to change his religion to christian, it was like someone forced him to change his own identity. in that case, he had nothing. but in my opinion, i find him as an interesting character to analyse on. so these are my views on the character shylock. otherwise i really loved ur lesson and ur dog is also cute

There is a controversy in critics' thought that Shakespeare is actually Christopher Marlowe...bcz justafter marlowe's death we find the arising of Shakespeare in literature, marlowe engaged in homosexual relationship as Shakespeare had strong feelings toward men...
