I agree. Also people comparing Makhachev moving up to 170 with Leon moving up to 185 doesn't make sense. Makhachev has 6 finishes in last 7 fights while Leon has only 1 finish in the last 7 fights; majority decision vs Usman, split decision vs Nelson, no contest vs Belal. Makhachev is much more dominant fighter, he wouldn't be too small at 170 welterweight, while I am not sure if Leon would be too small or not at 185 middleweight.

@Callum_04 , dominance is a factor. Leon is not dominant, even in his only recent finish win, he lost 3 rounds and was losing the fight until 1 minute. Unranked Lightweight Nate almost finished him, has no contest with Belal and split decision with Nelson. Makhachev dominate everyone, if its a choice between Leon and Makhachev who moves up first, it should be Makhachev. Also, Cejudo had only 1 title defense before moving up, Conor had 0 defense before Dana gave Khabib's title shot to him, DC didn't even beat Jones, he just won vacant 205 lbs belt and defend 1 time then move up to 265 lbs. Adesanya also has only 2 title defenses vs Romero and Costa before moving up vs Jan at 205 lbs.

Leon is fantastic, total Rocky story with how he won the belt. Never been finished, on a 13 fight unbeaten streak, has improved his takedown defence and ground game exponentially. He shouldn't look past Colby though, could easily lose a decision if he's not careful. Needs to be more active too, but definitely a great fighter and pride of Jamaica and the UK.
