She could have prodded on the issue of China and Nepal and China influence on their local Politics but from the body language of PM Oil , Palki was right to back off as that would have put the debate in an conferential mode and that was not the intension of the interview but reading between the lines Palki has archived her goal , PM Oil was putting a polite front but he also want to portray a message to India that he is willing to keep peace but with reservation ,which tells me that he is not in charge but has been forced into a situation where he has to keep India sweet due to his local politics and also keep China happy as they can make things worst then what they are, China is no one friends as we are finding out in last two years, India needs to play it's cards right with Nepal and not show hostility towards them and let China take even more ground in that region, which PM Modi has done very well on that issue.

Why I am saying that u r telling this to the wrong nation is that India has good trade ties and moral support from US, Russia, Indo-Pacific countries, Arab countries. Meanwhile Pax and Chin are facing flak from all corners. The last time when we came out of the "Neighborhood First" policy half a century back a new nation was created on the East. If you think maintaining good relationship with both neighborhood countries is being attracted towards China, you need to wake up and wash your face. This is Nepal bro, never been colony of any country. We love our independence and we both same relationship with both countries. If we gave Sita mata to India, we also gave Bhrikuti to Tibet(China), we respect both countries equally. Its not like Big brother Small brother, we were always good friends, and will always be... At least, be practical...
