Stupid idea, Cable Taxi whatever . Monorail is a flop. It's suitable only for small populated cities like KL, Singapore, not bursting cities like Mumbai. Another stupid idea being talked is Pid Taxi for BKC, which will deface the view there. He should concentrate on sewri-elephanta cable car, which is not taking off. First convert all BEST, MSRTC into E-buses. Then all autos into e-autos in Mumbai. It will reduce air pollution substantialy.

Minister Sir - Make Public transport more desirable and safe , All AC e buses on routes above 200kms/ imp cities , replace all the ST buses( Lal Dibba) which are above 15 years with New/ Electric buses. Upgrade the quality and experience bus stands to a new level. Focus on routes which can improve profitability and turn the loss making Mahamandal to Profits. bus luxury coach services ( twice a day)on following routes will help 1. MUMBAI - Chatrapati Sambhajinagar 2.Mumbai - Nasik 3.Mumbai - Kolhapur 4. MUMBAI - Nagpur
