Summary, play like an aggressive nit. 3bet abit more, but a mostly merged range, and defend a lot less. I always felt my roi dropped when I started following these “tournament” range vs when I was playing using my own experience. And when I moved back to ranges based off my own experience, where I’m a lot tighter with more 3bet, my roi goes up.

May be a dumb question. But am I right in saying that cEV is more used out of money spots. ICM ranges used when say on the bubble or money jumps? Trying to differentiate when to use either.

Been using Pairrd for the past two months and can’t recommend it enough. These addition look so exciting making me gassed for study aha. Would that discord be open to anyone or just proper big brains as I’d love to be a part of it but wouldn’t be able to add any value to it apart from knowing what question a noob would ask ahah

How exactly did you incorporate population tendencies into these ranges? Did you manually adjust each range to guess at what the population is doing, and then compute the optimal response to this?
@RaiseYourEdge2 жыл бұрын
Running population analysis on how people play preflop, and then using this knowledge to adjust the preflop ranges. And yes I went over every single range manually and adjusted every range.

I have a few questions Are these ranges assuming villains will respond with ICM ranges or chip ev ranges? Do these graphs all assume we have avg stack in the tourney? as surely if you have 100BB at 30BB avg ICM is less of a consideration. In bounties can we just roughly "half" the difference ICM and chip ev?

I'm a bit confused to see this. Actually I like this 'real' tournament range but I also bought tournament master class and the ranges from masterclass seems quite different from the ranges in this video. Your pre-flop lecture was crucially based on the ranges of tournament master class so if those ranges were not 'real', then how should I adjust preflop lecture of master class?
@RaiseYourEdge2 жыл бұрын
I explained in the Video that the Ranges in the TMC consider ICM more than any chEV range as well as Population Tendency, so they are much better than any chEV ranges out there. The ICM Ranges in Pairrd will be way more detailed and you can practice different stages of the tournament.
@zenguy732 жыл бұрын
I have a background in Double or Nothing(later Fifty50 trny) and i have always suspected that the cEV ranges are not accurate becouse they dont reflect ICM tax which is inherantly present thru the entire tournament. The problem is how are we going to remember every range @ 50BB,40BB,30BB,20BB for everyspot, i think its imposibble. I believe it will be cool if you can extrapolate some sort of BUBBLE FACTOR Regression to show percentage change form one BB block(say50BB) to the next(say 40BB) and equate this BFactor to a specific Range removal(i. fold 55,ATo ect)compared to the next block. Cheers

Hi, even if you don't put all the ICM ranges in the tournament masterclass, could you at leat do 1 or some video explaining the general adjustments we have to make compared to the "chip ev" range viewer so that the tournament masterclass stays up to date? I'm sure it would also be a good selling point that differentiates it from the others masterclasses on the market and would keep it relevant through the years altough older than his counterparts

All preflop ranges are updated based on that + multiple videos explaining this concept + ICM Final Table Ranges + a new video called "POKER IS SO EASY" explaining this as well + how it applies to postflop. Just check it out.

@@RaiseYourEdge Hi RYE, I've bought the TMC course but haven't started it yet. I briefly looked at the Range Viewer a couple of weeks ago, Openraising, Flatting&3bettting, etc. Is this video saying that those Range Viewer ranges have been changed? And if so, is there a record of the old ranges you had, to compare them to? Thanks.

I can tell you know that the coaches at RYE will blow your mind about poker. You need to treat there courses and coaches like an investment. It’s like going to university. Taking the course won’t instantly make you good. You need to put in the time and study hard and make it a habit when you’re in game.

I respect your feedback. If you don't see the value of what you get then never buy. We believe you can make 5x 10x or more the money back easily. You invest in yourself. If you don't want to invest 50$/month in your poker education that might help you to make 4 digits a month, then this might not be for you.

I want your opinion on this bencb . I know you use solvers charts etc but do you think poker is better off or more fun without these tools . I use study and use charts as well because I feel like you have to in nowadays to even keep up . I wish poker was how it used to be without these and you had to learn on ur own and understand urself rather than just put in as much study volume as possible and go off a computer . Feel like nobody is thinking for theirselves anymore and it’s just pure GTO which makes poker one dynamic and boring to me but it’s my passion and I’ll continue to grind it out and adapt . Just want to know if u share the same mindset as me or you enjoy these tools
@RaiseYourEdge2 жыл бұрын
Jupp I also enjoyed it a lot figuring out stuff by yourself. But it is what it is and not utilizing these tools will make it much harder for you. I think GTO Poker also made games a lot softer where people just rely on Theory even though it is not very practical and they lose a lot of edge vs recs and weaker opponents.

All preflopranges are currently updated, which have been over the last years multiple times. I don't think anyone else is doing it and updating the course so many times, adding multiple times brand new videos etc. We could have made extra money with the GTO course which we added for free, we could have made a separate product from the ICM Final Table Ranges and the Population Analysis charged EASILY multiple thousands of dollars. Being disappointed that we don't put EVERYTHING into the TMC is quite out of line. If you cant see the value you get in the TMC and you don't appreciate the value, then sorry, I cant help you anymore.

@@RaiseYourEdge i appreciate the value i got in the Tournament master lass alot and It definetly took me to a my cirrent Level and was Worth alot more then the prize we payed. Im still the oppinion that especially those Ranges you offer now Look cruicial for every Tournament Player, so as someone that owns your Tournament master class, your Bounty course and your live Cashgame course, i kinda disagree that Excluding this fits with the promised you Made about the course. Selling Ranges that crush our Ranges we got in Most of the situations, decreases the value of the Tournament masterclass as single Product alot.

Dear Ben, You know the companies also know alot about you. They study you aswell. They can flick a switch on you anyway. This means that you are profiled and drained by riduculous traps everywhere. You work for AI, AI that is far ahead of humans. Winners are also made and profiled in small portions.Their needs to be examples of success. At the bottom of the scene it takes the regular guys money. AI lets that guy take all. They take huge rake and give you shit prizes that always seem to be almost full for a spin. You are inside a casinoish system that makes people super rich. Rich people will also do well at poker in real life cause they can afford to enter big ones and play relaxed. The idea that you can study poker is actually ridiculous. The data you are running is just what AI showed you. The evidence is useless cause all it means that they made you see patterns. Find the patterns find the intelligence. It can watch your show, the AI. Bring on the insults and tell me im wrong but i need to see a deck before i trust it. Statistically speaking people with leading stacks get higher amounts of cards that help them. You refuse insurance and boom the next card is a cooler. Most times you accept it and win. One time miss thr insurance can make you click a losing street. They want you to keep pumping money in.The company loves fish the most for dinner. They are the cheapest meal... Glgl

You are asking people to put large sums of money for study material yet you have not released your own ROI to support that this material is coming from a solid consistent winning player. I feel there is a clear lack of transparency in the poker coaching community. How is it any different from a snake oil salesman?

Because I honestly don't care what people like you think. Then simply don't buy. The program is full anyway and closed. I am not trying to convince you. There are enough poker schools out there. gl
