Yes. That pressure speeds up the whole learning process. These players don't seem to go home and wake all night thinking of what they did wrong and how to correct it. They just seem to come back on the field, make the same mistakes and if there's an oops, well you'll do better next time lad. With a guy like Terry grabbing you by the neck, that's a different story. I try to not call out players but defensively I can not trust or see us having success with Disasi and Badiashile. Jackson is not the answer as a striker but would not have an issue playing him as winger to see if he performs better in that position. Enzo has become just too careless with his passing. Love Thiago but he still just slows down forward play when on the pitch. At this point I do not know what to think about Poch. The teams performances are a reflection of Poch. It is unbelievable how this squad can only play to the level of the opposing team. Seem responsive instead of proactive.

We have a great squad I believe. We need to invest in a seasoned CM that can partner Enzo and Cas. I believe in order to be competitive we need a new manager that plays a modified 4-3-3 like Liverpool or city. There is obviously a reason that teams playing the 4-3-3 dominate and we need to follow. Our attack could use some maturity but Palmer I am convinced is a better RW than 10. Nkkuku if fit locks down that left wing or false 9 and I’d like to see a new striker and left winger come in. I know this isn’t very popular but u think Murdyk need a loan to a German or Italian team for a season so he can get the minutes and play in a less physical league. Potch till the end of the season is inevitable and honestly I see him staying for next as well. I just believe the 4-2-3-1 is out dated or at least easy to overwhelm in the prem, our team looks exhausted by the 60th minute in games because we don’t have that control in the centre of the park. We just have to do better in so many ways. And to add corners look like shit from us. We just croud the area and hope we can get a head on it. We need proper tactics for corners. Most importantly we need a winning mentality and that will come with experience but we need winners in this team! How can a team learn to have a winning mentality when most of them haven’t won anything. It’s time to bring in some older individuals like Osimen…. If we can afford him.

I honestly think Pochettino should stay for the rest of his contract, the last thing we need is more upheaval. He's a good coach, but everything is chaotic right now. Let the young players settle and gel under a manager that they seemingly really like, and when his contract is up after next season, we can asses the progress. With the way Arteta performed in the beginning at Arsenal, he would have been sacked long ago at Chelsea, but look at them now, he remained Arsenal manager, developed their young players, and now they're competing at the top of the league.

The midfield is porous. Any backline will struggle with such an open midfield. We press poorly, we are poor in transition and our midfield generally struggle to fill space effectively. How many times is Gallagher caught out up field pressing with no support, or Enzo is breezed past in midfield or Caicedo tackles from the wrong side and leaves our centre backs utterly exposed. Its just painful watching us play a style the team is not suited to. We lack an intelligent midfielder to stitch that part of the pitch together and just organise Enzo and Caicedo. Weirdly, Jorginho, who massively frustrated at times, would've been well suited to sitting and screening the back four and actually help Enzo and Caicedo through games. Ah well.

You hit the nail on the head a few episodes ago when you said Potch needs to instill belief. As it stands these type of teams believe they can turn us over and we believe they're right. That's going to take time. It was crazy to bring on Badiashile cold with 2 minutes of extra time to go when they were going balls to the wall toe to toe with us. Not sure why we didn't just bring on Gilchrist at right back and push everyone already on to the left to make a back 5 if we wanted to shore things up. Gilchrist was exactly the type of energy that game needed. Badiashiles got the best song but he's chronically out of form at the moment. This did him no favours. Potch is a great manager but he definitely has got a f**k up in him. To be fair, with the talent we had on the pitch we should have put it to bed long before that calamitous double substitution but I was surprised he didn't put his hands up in the press conference and say yep, I ballsed that right up. Cole Palmer is awesome but he's trying to do it all himself and did make a lot of errors. He is amazing but it's a team game. I am still fuming. That would have put us above united if we win our game in hand. I know the team we put out was basically cobbled together but still. This is not good enough. Everton are gonna have a pop. Rant over. We just don't have a settled back four/three. How many combinations and player positional changes have we seen? Some through injury and some through selection. 1st choice defenders not available for most of the season. Keepers not so good. It doesn't breed confidence at the back. There is no stability. Nothing to build on for the next game and the next after that. Defending isn't just about the back four but if they cannot find stability then there is no way they can be bawling out the midfield to provide cover. They are just too young and do not have enough experience of the PL. They are out muscled and out thought.

I blame Poch completely for the line up. In a game against a team like Sheffield, you need creative players like Carney, Mudryk, Sterling to start. No idea why he thought having two CDMs in Enzo and Caicedo, as well as Gallagher at 10/Left Wing, and Cucurella playing some wing back position was the way to go and be creative. We had half the chances that Sheffield did! Every time I saw us go down the left there was a road block because we had nothing happening there. Watching Gallagher and Cucurella try and do something creative was absolutely painful. Then to bring on someone like Badiashille, who has made some big errors this season, to close off the game for a 2-1 win was absolutely shambolic. We paid dearly for that decision. Still don't understand why one of the tallest players and CB's in the league can't header a ball. As much as some individual performances weren't great, the managerial decisions lost us this game. Pochettino calling the team immature is ridiculous. You should know better than to set the team up like that. Not only that but he could have rested some players like Gallagher and given game time to Mudryk, or left out Caicedo or Enzo and played Carney, who would have been much more impactful as attacking players. Poch is setting these kids up for failure.

Nico williams is a baller, he just won a trophy. It's important we sign players/staff from clubs like Liverpool/city/madrid/bayern or personnel who have won trophies. Enough of poaching clubs like Brighton. Why settle for mediocrity? Surely sucees on the field is important for financial gains which the owners want. Winning trophies increases the fanbase, commercial partnerships, lucrative friendlies, etc. Surely they didn't spent billions just to help the british government get rid of Roman. Make it make sense!!

Don't know about Williams. He seems to consistently miss a game or 2 every other month as he is picking up small injuries. I can only see that getting worse should he sign for us. I'd also like some more experience in the squad and maybe someone who's more familiar with the Prem. I think letting CHO leave might have been a mistake and I'd be happy to take him back. Dwight McNeil could also be a nice option. Also not opposed to looking at the Championship. I hear Jaden Philogene is playing really well and he'd already have the Chelsea haircut. Other than that I'm always a fan of signing Edon Zhegrova or getting Sancho off of United for fairly cheap.

I could understand and fogive Poch loosing to top 6, maybe even top 10. Loosing or drawing to bottom teams is unforgivable and inexcusable. He should be sacked immediately

Palmer does look to pass through the legs too much. Have a look at the much a see how many times his pass didn’t go through. Not having a go but his pass success rate must have been bad
