Exactly, the biggest takeaway by how good our preseason has been, is how good we drafted/recruited in the off season, the scouts and staff Poles has hired is second to none, finding diamonds in the rough will go a long way to keep the Bears at cap, and most importantly, competitive.

@@MobiusAmpereand this isn’t just a one time thing. We’ve seen him do this every single year since he came. I wasn’t made at the clay pool trade I liked what he was trying to do he took a chance which I rather see and him learn and get even better at his job but when we don’t take risks we’ll end up signing the average QB In FA or take the Wrong one in the draft like we did with trubisky.. Poles gets it he knows what a team needs to look like and consist of if you want to be the face of this league and we are now and will be for a longggg time. Teams are gonna study poles and start seeing more GMs try and do what he’s done which “won’t be possible” but if I’m not mistaken we are the only team rn who seriously has a real chance at 3 1k yard WRs which only happened once, we see the chemistry with Rome growing already once him and DJ really lock in, also with kmet which we seen a nasty competition against the bills in his first preseason game.. imagine when teams are starting to play for playoff spots he’s gonna be scary it seems like he learns and adapts very fast quicker than most he has a confidence and Calm demeanor about him he already looks like a top 5 Vet QB and a vet in the game, when a QB can make the game slow down where we can even see it on the tv you know you got something special.. I don’t pit any ceiling on this bears team I believe we will do things we’ve never seen before in the nfl and im ready 😤🤩

To be honest, over several years, I have NOT been disappointed with one of your episodes, Adams. You two work so well together, like peanut butter and jelly. I LOVED the Poles interview! It's a rare opportunity for fans and reporters to share similar head space. In a normal situation, you, the reporters give your inside information to us, the fans. But in the interview with Poles, there appears to be some shared head space by all of us. That is very powerful and I love it! Aside from the valuable information offered from Poles, it's so appealing to me, that we get to see Poles, as a human being, and not just a GM. Unfortunately, I think many of us view a GM as a player factory, an inhuman machine that has a job to do and we unintentionally remove the humanity from them. That's completely unfair to them, the GM, and this annual interview helps remind us that a GM is a person, just like us. They just happen to have a different job with different challenges and responsibilities, that may seem foreign to us. Anyway, this episode made me very, very happy! Thank you to Hoge, Jahns, and Kent for your dedication to producing a quality show. The questions, answers, & location, were all great! 😃

Poles has been efficient and most importantly has hit on almost every move he makes. He took the Bears from complete disarray top to bottom as a franchise to running like an efficient machine. In 2 years he’s overhauled the entire roster, added not only a lot of top notch starters but very solid backups and depth at almost every position. He has built the Bears to be competitive in talent, salary cap, and draft capital. Not to mention completely changing the losing culture.

If I was the first teams owner and had the chance to pick a gm before any other team so I have the choice to pick literally any person alive to be my Gm it’d be Ryan poles 100%. I’m so happy we got poles, which rightfully we deserve after Paces time.. in just 3 years he came into the worst situation of any team having by far the worst team both sides of the ball and came in having to develop a QB he didn’t chose with no protection or weapons and the first offseason he made so many NEEDED CHANGES bringing in Edmunds and the Edwards changing the identity of the LB core solidified our Secondary in his first draft taking Gordon and brisker giving us one of the youngest most elite secondary’s, then the next year changed the franchise and with arguably the best trade in nfl history so on and so on. It seems like he always makes the perfect choice all his trades except for claypool and the Nate Davis signing were the only 2 out of every other one and you don’t see that ever. Before poles I never understood the choices our organization would make I’d literally feel like I could do a better job fr.. but finally we got someone that understands the job and executes it perfectly. What he say? We’re taking the north and never giving it back! In poles we trust
