Even if the root of Simone's issues back then were mental, the FACT was that she was physically incapable of performing those moves since she could not figure out where she was in the air. If she'd attempted to do so, it would have been the same as a level 6 attempting elite. She'd have suffered a career-ending injury and cost her team a chance to medal.
