Those Hondo Bullhide boots look fantastic. Love the volcano tops and the stitch pattern. Can’t go wrong with a pair of Hondo’s.

Your slim style jeans fit really good over those 16 inch tall boots shafts. Would you need the tall boots socks to prevent any calf skin chaffing from rubbing against the shaft linings ?

Those are beautiful boots! 🙂 Gotta love Hondo Bull hide! Love the U-toe but would be cool if they also came in a "7-toe a la Lucchese narrow square toe". I have the Hondo 2670 and also the Tony Lama Vaquero Boots VM2952, witch is a beautiful Bull hide R-toe and I can really recommend them both 🙂

New to your channel within the last couple of weeks. I've finally pulled the trigger on cowboy boots, but this sizing stuff is frustrating! Was wondering what size you wear in Tecovas? I'm finding 11.5's are great for my toe area, but there is just some wiggle room around the ankle area. I'm wondering if sizing down to 11 is a good idea or just use an insert? I feel an 11 might get too cramped in the toe area but just a smidge more snug in the ankle. Not sure if that's better or worse. Foot size is 11.5 and 4" for width which is a width size "C". I did see from your earlier videos (2 years ago) that you're around the same size. So just curious what your input might be.

I just got my first pair of boots and am now seeing the whole world they have unlocked, this may be a dumb question but I was curious is it ever acceptable to tuck you pants into your boots? ( casual? Work?) or never? I’ve read some confusing posts saying lazy people don’t tuck them but also I read you should never tuck them…..confused😅😪

How many guys have you actually seen with jeans tucked in? My guess is none. That's for if you're mucking out the barn and you don't want to get that mess on the hem of your jeans. No. Just no. Otherwise, enjoy the heck out of them.

I think they use pigskin leather in the counters... I have the model 2670 witch are the same as these but with a red shaft, and what I can see it's pigskin all right.

i came across your channel while trying to figure out what size i might need in Abiliene bison boots. i ware a 11 1/2 to 12 B in most boots. even the B width my feet slide around. i really would appreciate your input on what size you would recamend in the abiliene bison boot. thanks for your help.
