I broke into Tom Cruise's residence via a skylight, lowered myself down past laser tripwires and CCTV, and then replaced the recipe with an apology letter (because the recipe was on a pressure-sensitive pad, obviously!). 🕵️ Don't tell Tom! 😹 Let me know how you get on and happy baking!! By the way, I've personally found it tastes better after a day in the fridge! 💖😻

@@BlackCatKitchen I have not seen one of the Mission Impossible series of movies starring Tom Cruise. Just all his other stuff. Valkyrie and A Few Good Men are my favorites. 'You can't handle the truth!' The mission impossible theme has always been a favorite to listen to from the very beginning. I've had it as a ringtone in the past.

You **could** mix in almond flour to all purpose flour, but as it's not something I've tried in this recipe, I wouldn't like to recommend a specific ratio! I'd hate for your cake to not turn out perfect! I'm sorry I couldn't help this time! 💖

The coconut adds a lot of texture and stability to this cake. It's very dense and rich, so you only need a small piece. But I've tested this cake on vehement coconut haters, and they've fallen head over heels for it! I hope you'll give it a try! 😻😻

Hi. Can I reduce the white sugar to 2 cups?

You can reduce the sugar to 2 cups in this recipe! It will change the texture of the cake ever so slightly, but it'll still be good! It is quite a large and rich cake though, so even with the 3 cups of sugar, it won't be masses of sugar per slice! I hope that helps! Merry Christmas!! ❤️😻

If you have a quick look online, you’ll find that Doan’s Bakery (the bakery that makes these cakes for Tom) use a cream cheese frosting, like mine. It’s not buttercream! 😻

@@AndySaenz924 I love it too, BUT when you bake the white chocolate in it it then crystallizes and becomes crunchy bits. It’s soooo much better just leaving those chips out. Im a big time baker, trust on this 🙂😉
