@@rjbrewer09 If you prefer taller cupcakes, then yes. But if you are a fan of traditional muffin tops (mushroom shaped), use regular cupcake cups. It's a question of preference! Some would say the tall cupcakes look more modern? More coffeehouse style? I think that's how they got popular.

Nearly every cooking video on YT makes the same claim: “…the very best…” Thus, when baking this recipe last night I included a healthy spoonful of skepticism. Hmmm… they certainly looked beautiful when taken out of the oven, and smelled wonderful as they cooled on a wire rack. It wasn’t until this morning when I briefly warmed one for breakfast, served with a slice of cold unsalted butter and a cup of my favorite black coffee, that I discovered all of the hype is TRUE! These are the very BEST BLUEBERRY MUFFINS I’ve ever tasted, Period. They are wonderful, hold together just enough to eat by hand or with a fork, have the perfect texture and a flavor that wraps around the tongue to produce a rainbow of bright flavors that are wonderful individually and in combination, a very unique sensation. These muffins are well-beyond “bakery quality” and wouldn’t be out of place in the finest restaurant. These are the best muffins of any style I’ve ever made. I am 75 and have been cooking since I was 8 years old; I am known for tweaking and/or combining different recipes to produce unique and wonderful meals… however, there is NOTHING in this recipe I would change, the muffins are perfect as-is. Kudos!

I’ve been using Jordan Marsh’s recipe for about 25 years. It was first introduced on the Food Network by pastry Chef Nick Malgieri. this truly is the best recipe ever. I highly suggest when making it to never ever use frozen blueberries. So delicious and easy.

I grew up going to JORDAN MARSH in BOSTON...and FILENES BASEMENT... I'd go into Town once a week with my Mother from THE NORTH END...Never had the Muffins though... My Italian mother would bake all the time , so she would never buy store bought muffins, only Pastry like Canoli... Now I do the baking of Italian Cookies and pies.......To this Day I never had a JORDAN MARSH MUFFIN....Maybe someday I'll bake some....
