Once in a lifetime opportunity to tour the set of Degrassi. This isn't something they allow very often and we got super lucky. I apologize for how long this video is, but I didn't want to leave a lot out and have a ton of clips for the fans of the television show.

Seeing this video I have this weird feeling that TV sets are places where time and life feels different. Like there is a suspended reality that happens every once in a while. Everything there is waiting for the people to go there and make time go on again. Feels weird but it's really interesting.

I was a big fan of the original show then flipped my sh*t when I heard TNG was coming out. I remember I actually went to Best Buy and bought a DirecTV system (I live in America) to watch the first episode because we didn't have the cable channel "The N" available in our area at the time. I stopped watching after everyone graduated and well, I mean I was getting older so I mean, you get it. But this show was a huge part of my life. Well written scripts and great actors. Anyone ever seen Jake Epstein's audition tape? I would love to take a tour of these studios one day. Just wow. "Sometimes you gotta take a chance"

That great! I did it as well! But in the summer time! Met some cast as well! Video on my channel! Like I said I went in the summer because they were filming inside the school I couldn't go inside But did everything else

Awesome! I'll check it out. Being able to walk through a mansion, into a gymnasium, into a counselors office in less than 40 strides is pretty amazing. The production equipment was fantastic to inspect as well. They were going to try to set it up so we could meet some of the cast members, but meeting Stephen was an honor in and of itself.

On A Whim Explorer yeah I know right I wish we could went inside the school but it's okay Yes Stephen was really nice when I met him I always wanted to be the father of Degrassi LOL I wish I could've met Linda and I would've probably died because she is such a legend and being American and going to a Canadian show so that totally made me happy because I've been a Degrassi. Since probably 2001 when it first aired in the state and we had Krista as our tour guide she runs the social media on Degrassi and we met Ian as well he only came out for a few minutes but he was so nice to

A bit late to the parade here, but I always thought they shot the show on location and not a set. Didn't they use a real school and film in an actually neighborhood during the original run of Degrassi Junior High and Degrassi High?
