In 1982, the 5 amazing musicians from Seattle, Washington came together to form Queensryche, one of the most influential bands of the metal era. With 5 consecutive, critically acclaimed Releases they began to headline arenas in the late 1980's. Following the invasion on the grunge to the music scene, Bands band popularity began to wane. On huge loss came with the departure of Chris Degarmo and In 2012 he remaining members fired Lead Singer Geoff Tate. After the smoke cleared, Remaining members Scott, Eddie Jackson and Michael, Along with Parker Lundgren and New Singer Todd La Torre, the band moves forward and releases 3 solid records bringing back the classic Queenryche Sound. I caught up with Bassist Eddie Jackson to discuss the latest release and tour and while taking about some of the key moments in the bands history leading them to the current lineup and success.
