I kind of agree with Dr. Magsi I was born and raised in Karachi in Urdu speaking family. Infact our elders spoke Bhojpuri that we never learned. No one culture is superior or inferior. We lived in Sindh for three generations, we should had been taught Sindhi and accepted Sindhi culture as our own. Sindhi is the major language in Sindh and we were deprived of it in Karachi. Language binds people together. We would had been better if we learned Sindhi. Our interest is with Sindh, not with India. Sindhi is the major language in Sindh and learning it would make us easy. It's like if you live in California, or Texas, is better to learn Spanish also because of Spanish community. We were lied by our politicians. They should had asked us to learn Sindhi. It would had been better for every one in Sindh. No one is stopping you from decorating your ethinicity., but if you live in US or Canada, it's better to learn English and French/Spanish. We should be taught Sindhi. Urdu is the language of Muslims of Indian subcontinent and it will stay alive as long as Muslims live in this area, but we should had work to promote Sindh and Sindhi

He is a liar, I was a student at Sindh University during this period the Jeay Sindh Students party used to regularly pick up and beat Punjabi and Urdu speaking students without any reason, only just because they spoke a different language, He was the head of that racist party. The Jeay Sindh students used to hold their hugely attended meetings at the university of Sindh Auditorium and will chant furiously, panjabion par lanat, mohajiron par lanat, pathanoo par lanat, Sindh kay in dushmanoo par lanat in Sindhi. The APMSO and NSO emerged as a reaction of violence of Jeay Sindh party who were a separatist, secessionist nationalist party working against the country and they were supported by the RAW with money and received from them military type training of using arms and explosives. I seriously think that Pakistan needs to have a "Truth & Reconciliation Commission" to document the atrocities committed to innocent people from associations such as Jeay Sindh and MQM and the establishment too, otherwise the burden of lies of our nation will drown it.

Imtiaz sb - I and my whole family never identify ourselves as Urdu speaking and we have a lot of Sindhi friends. We have noticed during our last seventy years stay in Karachi that working class Sindhi people are great and loving human beings but the wealthy Sindhi people are very biased and they hate Urdu speaking people. We have never identified ourselves as Karachites or Urdu speaking people but these wealthy Sindhi people always call us Urcu speaking. It is sad but is a fact that many Sindhis don’t want us to identify ourselves as Sindhis. Many Sindhis consider Urdu speaking people as inferior. But we made it our strength and now Alhamdolillah we have great literacy rate at least in our family.

Can you ask all of these people just one question, including this guy, and people like Zulfiqar Mirza and alike: Zardari is corrupt from he beginning. These people did not know this? I refuse to believe that they are that stupid. So the answer is very simple. They were with him as long as it was serving their OWN personal interests. Now, they can see that Zadari is eating them too, just like Zulfiqar Mirza, so now they are against him. And the next question would be; When the people of Sindh will understand this?

Problem are these people. They only work for their interest, and for the people who are suffering, these type of people need to present some one as a "bogie man' to divert their attention. Their are many similar examples in the history, but you wont get it. In this case, the "bogie man" was Karachi, and Sindhis still believes it.

A good interview, I am urdu speaking was under the impression that Dr Sahib was the culprit in Hyderabad massacre, from his admission it looks like it was a well planned -..Always behind such events?? Must admit Dr sahib explained his point of view well and logically,. My Grandfather himself left all his property in India migrated to pakistan & never got a single piece of land the family went through hell in poverty after his death, I cannot think of one family in my circle who benefitted from evacuees property.
