I use to love going on these trains to Cornwall back in the day. Very nice ctossing this one lovely station can hear seagulls so its by the sea. Dont see many HST nowadays, so this is a bonus. Still going strong though. Nice catches! ❤😊👍

Thank you! Scotland's the only place where passenger HSTs have any real presence now.

When we lived in Long Lane in the 50's my Mum would take me shopping with me sitting in the front basket of her bicycle. We would stop at the Crossing. Mum would let me stand on the lower rail of the Crossing Gate when it opened and this was one of my earliest memories of when i was living in Scotland. Many years later i visited the house in Long Lane with my wife and daughters on the way back to our house in Wiltshire. The place was being renovated and the Builders let us look around. In the back shed was my Mum's old bike complete with wicker basket. The kind man offered to let us take the bike but we couldn't fit it on our bike rack for the journey back to Wiltshire. Looking up and down the road nothing much has changed apart from the old swing Gate.

Nowadays, this is pretty much the ONLY place you can spot HST's at high speed.

That is true. A quick glance at RTT revealed that GWR's are practically gone now. ScotRail's may well be the final ever in passenger service.
