It's heavily implied that they did the deed. In the Manga Miyamura is sitting with Toru and Hori texts him "I missed by period, nice job." causing him to have a spit take. She of course was messing with him but it further confirms they in fact did it.

​@@kaxewdisco3594 Technically, you're right, Hori didn't literally say "I was sexually aroused and wanted him to insert his penis in my vagina," although she did say just that, she just used more poetic language. So in that sense it was implied. But when I think of an implied sex scene, it's something like the one in the 2017 Wonder Woman film. It's obvious from context, but never explicitly stated. By comparison Hori is pretty explicit about what she wants. Of course, we don't see the sex scene, nor do we get a factual statement that it happened, so in that sense it is implied, either way. So yeah, you're right. But it's definitely not subtle, the hinting is so overt that it feels explicit, which is why I think the incredulity of the above comment is understandable, despite the semantic error.

Horimiya is realistic romance. They are teenagers so that pacing is actually real. Kaguya is more hyperbolic, but even there the reasons why they don’t confess are logical (kaguya is afraid of being rejected cause she considers herself a bad person, and shirogane is being self conscious about their different social status)

@@syressx9098 well horimiya manga has a good pacing , its just that they tried covering best and major parts of 125 chapter manga into 12 episodes which kinda made it felt like rushed. I love romcoms and i love love is war ....ill say love is war in one of the best romcom anime but manga wise horimiya is just unbeatable .. i have read horimiya like 3 times now and and each time it didnt feel boring to reread. Give the manga a try im sure u will love it

Well Kaguya and Miyuki started out trying to get the other to confess, that's why (initially to not be the 'loser'). But I am glad for it as it was a fun ride and there's more seasons. Horimiya only got 1 season with 13 episodes. So I'm perfectly fine with having more content than if things were faster. It wouldn't be as much fun that way. Also seeing how Kaguya and Miyuki are later on in the manga, well they are *just* fine. lol

My man Miya REALLY felt her warmth lol. I was so happy for my boi when this episode aired, although it felt like everything happened so fast, and like you said, there are probably time-skips and we don't see every lil thing with them, so I guess its fine, its just they just got together like a few episodes ago, I wasn't expecting this type of progression lol.

In the manga version, they describe the development of Hori and Miyamura's relationship in more detail and depth. For that when they summed it up in just 12 episodes, it was sorely lacking. At first I hoped this anime would have at least two seasons.

Hey Alana! Great reactions to this series. Wait until the next few episodes about Hori, lol! I can definitely relate to Yoshikawa here. I tried (a bit too hard sometimes) to not rock the boat and keep things smooth in a friend group when I was younger and I can see her going with the flow even when there's tears in her eyes. Overall, it's such a great episode of such a great series. One of the best anime I've seen in a while.

Yeah in the manga it's feel better than the anime, not saying the anime isn't good cause it is but yeah there's more in the manga like it's usual with all the stories. But regardless of the version I loved this part, mostly cause it's real, that's a thing couples do and the fact that is not just holding hands (so lewd) the big end game for X amount of time is refreshing.

@@parisareaz3312 Nah, they messed with the joke from the original special chapter. lol The point is that Ishigami was mad he didn't get to see as much fanservice, but the anime messed up the actual joke by fully showing and adding more fanservice. So they used it as an excuse to go hard with fanservice instead of it being a parody. lol I liked the original chapter by author but didn't care for the 1st segment of how the anime did it, too over the top. The 2nd part with magazine was fine. Regardless, she still might not care for this kinda humor stuff (doesn't fit for Kaguya-sama tbh), so she might not be too interested if she hasn't reacted to it so far.
