I see 5 professionals for my mentals and am on 9 meds a day, and i still dont like to default to using my depression as a reason for why i get behind on my housework. Im probably more of a candidate, but it really pisses me off when people rely on arm chai therapy for their diagnoses inorder to justify bad habits and poor life choices. Get actual help, then talk.

I have mental illnesses diagnosed by a psychiatrist and I can say that no matter how much I don't want to use it as an excuse, it still massively factors in when I fall behind on things like cleaning my house. At the end of the day, when I have episodes etc it is what it is even if I don't like to admit it

I'm trying to get disability i notice I have a hard time telling people that my depression makes it hard to get out of bed and shower and drive further than a block. But the difference is, we are working with professionals, she is not. At the end of the day it makes all the difference. Sorry yoy have those struggles.

Being socially anxious is way different than having social anxiety." These gorls are could have these things, but until they seek help they are just dealing with the symptoms, they are not working through the diagnoses.

I have MS, work part time, do housewife duties plus homeschool my girls plus homeschool group activities so my girls can have a social life while my husband works a restaurant manager job 50+hours a week. He can't be bothered to help out around the house, my 13 and 14 yeast old daughters do minimal chores (dishes, their own laundry etc) I don't give a shit if she's unhappy with things. We agreed for me to be a stay at home mom then I had to get a job. I'm burning the candle at both ends. I don't care if he's happy anymore. The point is, I can't give a shit if foodie is fulfilled. She sucks and doesn't know how good she has it.

I deal with mental heath issues and I work full time and overtime, I force myself to go to the gym because I know it helps me feel better and sleep better. It’s hard but not impossible. If you can’t do the basics check yourself into a hospital!

i have to disagree w/consensus re: left stew out. we do it w/stew & soup during Fall-Spring (as long as it's not too hot) hot food is left to cool overnight & then put in refrig. am. Holidays: place outside on balcony along w/drinks. (unless too cold, cuz everything freezes)

I’m sorry Fronchie but I gotta disagree on one thing. My fiancé pats my head all the time but that’s because he’s just silly and “childish” (he’s very much a responsible adult who f's me amazingly also, he’s just young at heart.) I definitely don’t think they’ve been more physical than this their entire relationship, I’m just saying this isn’t that weird for real couples.
