Hey Whelps! Got a question, has the hatchet got any better from what it used to be the first months? Like, is it still hard to get hitregs on basic attacks or is it still missing hits from abilitys like R. Torrent? I'm interested in giving NW another chance somewhat soon but I really expect the Hatchet to be way more consistent since most of my gear revolves around it and would be quite sad if thats not the case, thank you in advance!

Meta has changed over the last months, I also had a break of 6 months and came back and my war gear needed to be changed completely because of the new perks, but I'm so happy to be back, it feels really that I'm home again and they made so many improvements.

Regarding your video description "you wanna have attunement and rogue on GA" I would argue Thwarting Strike + Attunement is a lot better overall as execute has Grit and Thwarting helps your great axe normal attacks as well. Ofc Rogue will deal a bit more damage if you manage to hit it from behind but imo it would be more of a meme build trying to get the highest execute damage number.

I tried us8ng execute as a fi other for SnS in OPR, wasn't great. Think I'm better off with more of a utility skill o the GA in OPR and leave reverse stab on sword for finishing

I'm a returning player and I seem to have a lot of problems with tracking, I know they did some changes to tracking in the meantime, but I see in your videos that you track so well and I tried to emulate it, but I doesn't work as well, especially noticeable on shield bash, I just don't track and stand in place. Do you buffer your light or abilities during the roll or not press W, is there another trick? Pls help! It might also be a ping issue, but I have like 20ms connection to the server, shouldn't be the issue.

@@DooM_TC Are you saying I need to aim the cursor on them or a little to the side, since the cursor is a little to the right of the player model and middle would technically be a little to the left of the cursor? Looking at some of whelps gameplay more closely he sometimes is aiming to the right of them and it still tracks.

For your set up in sword and shield, swap out reverse stab for shield rush with ONLY itself and no upgrades. You can leaping strike into rush into bash for a 100% guaranteed stun lock without the "berserk" animation

I was wondering why I was seeing more of Execute. I wonder how long it will be until Freedom gets buffed and applies to everything. I think the time it takes to pull this off is little over 1.5 so if freedom worked correctly it would not work unless one was in heavy. Probably could of got away with 4 freedoms if the perk worked correctly. However Execute is getting buffed in ptr.

executes cast times was increased in the PTR its twice as fast now :D execute is gonna see alot of use.

freedom isn't going to help actually even with 5 freedom it's 2sec stun on shield bash

Freedom only applies to the base duration of the CC and not the modifiers

All the videos and all the OPR matches I play tell me clearly that I need to drop heavy and use light armor. LA is so meta right now. Heavy armor users just suffer too much. Any Heavy builds being at least compatible to this level of OPness?

In terms of opr and arena yeah light is meta. If we are talking wars then medium/heavy is most definitely the meta outside of kill groups.

This doesn't work on my server, everyone runs freedom on at least 2 pieces. I've been rolling kids with fs,ig though. Usually in 3v3 I have crazy dmg.

It's a 1.5 second stunning if they have 5 freedom

@@jonb6564 Freedom works on base cc duration, shield bash is 2s base +1s with the talent, so full freedom only brings it down from 3 to 2, because the +1s is not halved. Dukesloth did a vid on this if you want more info.
