This is excellent! I've been an AA for 2 years and recently promoted to the EA position, supporting the CEO. This is not flashy, but if you are an EA, you've got to listen to this. Thank you for this great video. I am a very confident EA, with my Executive and board members, and have been for 30+ years. When it comes to social events(dinners, Gala, etc.) that I am invited I lose my confidence as I feel that I am not on the same playing field as the board members. Hey Beth, saw you just posted this and thought I’d give a reply. You can do it! My advice is to set boundaries in asking for a clear job description for what you will be handling. Being expected to do the full load of 2 jobs (or even 1.5 jobs) is tasking (and yes tiresome), it’s more efficient for the company to have you focus on one role that you prefer. 💛👍🏻 Goodluck!
