If you don’t have control over your drinking and get sloppy then no but if you have class and can keep it classy I don’t see a problem with it.

Depends on which country/culture you’re in... In Japan for example, it’s expected to have drinks with your superior - it’s a sort of mandated bonding time (in corporate culture). It may be an insult to decline the invitation.

I was wondering if you could help me with this? How can I send the travel ticket details to someone, if I am booking their travel, the travel info comes from a travel agent, and its locked, I know i can unlock it by clicking on the padlock in the calendar, but I want to make sure that it shows up in their calendar if i send it to the executive, so that they know that they have an upcoming trip. Should i just forward it to him after I unlock it? Also if I am in NYC and booking a trip for someone who is traveling from NYC to France, I try to send the calendar invite, I click on time zone, put the departure time (when the flight takes off)in our time zone, and landing time in France time, when I hit send, will that show up as an international time zone on their calendar once they land in France? Because when I go back to what I sent, it defaults back to NYC time. I was told it would be automatically converted for them.

Hi Alicia, I am working for a company where I filled in for the EA for 8 months while she was on maternity leave. Now she's back, I've done her and my role well during the time (I believe at least) and they just wanted me to step backwards without any development or career opportunities. During the time I was the acting EA, ny executive has zero one on one meetings with me and zero interest in even talking to me. I feel like I did something wrong. I worked so hard to prove myself I could take on more responsibilities and now I'm left just in a vacuum of nothingness. The EA is back, I'm still expected to do half her workload for no extra pay or title. What are your thoughts on this?
