The zombie apocalypse led by an insane death cult and freakish monster looking skeleton wizards and their stiched monstrosities. All in a high medieval fantasy - imagine being a peasant in that situation. Scary shit.

The only reason you or anyone would mention a campaign like this is because Nral or whoever that wrote the campaign with Garithos gave the captain a character, what he desperately needed. Everytime i played the game i asked myself "this guy sticks to us in a lot of places. Why is he still considered an NPC and not given a more important role?". Nral did great with Garithos conquest.

@@xm214-aminigun9 Its even more sad given the captain IS an actual character, just not mentioned in the game, his name is Falric and he is like one Arthas best friends, Arthas ends up stabbing him in Northrend after he tried to save him after he defeated Malganis as he tried to drag him away from Frostmourne to the ships to go home. Arthas did raise him as a Death Knight and he is even a boss in WoW. Of course this is retroactively Blizzard making characters deeper than they intended to, but its worth mentioning.

That was a really depressing ending sequence, and that's probably a sign that it is compelling. Great sequence with the surviving captain and the region being 'turned'. It is well put together, the AI voices are believable and the dialogue is well written. I want to see more of this!

Meanwhile, on StarCraft Reign of the Void Reversed… The outpost at Halcyon mobilizes their forces to purge the infested from their city, both their own and Kerrigan. And even the local pirates lent a hand. They only manage to incapacitate her, but at least the rest of her Zerg are dead. Just before they could have her body delivered to Carpenter, Daggoth steps in via his Hunter Killer and finishes his servant's job with his own Brood. Except he missed one Vulture driver and he manages to ride out of Halcyon to deliver his report. Except that was all a dying dream and he already died in the massacre.

If you don't want to make an immediate sequel, you could mesh the themes of the Garithos Master Race campaign and this "destroyed Lordaeron" feeling with a Scarlet Crusade campaign trying to survive and rebuild!

Actually, this could've been an excellent Undead equivalent to the Gartithos-led Human campaign; Arthas fails on his first mission as a death knight, so Tichondrius says "Fuck it, the Nathrezim will take direct control of the Scourge and ensure that no threats, external OR internal, will sabotage the Legion's invasion of Azeroth." This alternate Undead campaign would see Nathrezim-centered units replace most of the Undead tech tree, much like the humanized Alliance tech tree we saw under Garithos.
