Exercise Reforger: What was it and why did it happen?

Alright so with the launch of the ARMA Reforger Beta, I decided to do a video talking about the actual exercise that is Reforger!
This was a fun experiment to see if I can make a more fleshed out video and I was surprisingly able to complete this in less than a few days!

I did Reforgers ‘88 and ‘90. Great experiences!

I did Reforger 1980...it was exciting and fun, I drove an APC...I was stationed in Gelnhausen Germany from 1979 to 1981.

Reforger 1982 Carbine Fortress . Part of the Orange forces with 1st Armored Division . Had a Simulated Nuclear response release . also saw the 1st appearance of the M1 at Reforger

When I participated in ReForGer 88, I was told it stood for "Re-togetherness of Forces in Germany"; I think it was later changed to something shorter. At age 19, I wasn't told anything about the purpose other than to push back any Soviet invasion.

Two years late, but Arma Reforger is probably in the best state it ever was, still a bit disappointing that it is not a "proper" Arma title, but I have a feeling the Arma 4 is not that far away, great video on the topic of Reforger btw
