Whether qs or non quasistatic , work done is always integration(Pi dV ) , Pi is the pressure on the piston.

@35.18 , sir here first statement will be correct ,if they give ideal gas is independent of pressure for constant temperature bcz for ideal gas if pressure varies then temperature can also varies right?we can surely say enthalpy is function of temperature for ideal gas bcz we can h =u+RT , but enthalpy is independent of pressure statement valid only if the temperature is held constant for change in pressure. Eg . If an ideal gas is compressed adiabatically , then change in pressure results in Change in temperature right then how we can say enthalpy is independent of pressure?

Heat losses are not considered for HE, unless mentioned.

Sir first question explanation good but as it is fully insulated consider as adiabatic and for air specific heat ratio is given why the answer could not be option C

Because option C is work done by gas on piston but in question it is asked to find work done by piston on atmosphere that follows basic formula of PdV

I took more than 5 mins in the last question. I was reading everything very quickly to save time but due to this everytime I was reading real as ideal (idk why but I think after seeing pv equation). Then in the end I started reading each and every statement word by word and got the right answer . But wasted few mins extra to save time😂😂

I too spent more than 3 minutes in this last question Because suddenly I got confused like real gas can be assumed to have Ideal gas behavior at "low pressure high temp" or "High pressure low temp". But luckily I switched the answer at the last moment with some hope and it turned out to be correct. :)

Statement will be true even if “OR” is written. Either condition of Pressure/Temperature needs to be satisfied, not necessarily both.
