Exerion was my first Jaleco game on Famicom that I play when I was a 8 year old child since 2009 on Super Joy 3 Plug n Play on 76000 in 1 and I played a lot.

This game always make me feel hungry back in the days. Because the enemy's shape in the beginning is shaped like one of our local chips.

The bonus stage track is probably the definition of "that annoying videogame music" our parents would constantly complain back in the day lol

A very frustrating game. No matter what you do, the enemy projectiles are always glued to you. In other shoot-them-ups you have the whole screen to run away from enemies and their projectiles. Inertia was a very innovative feature, but makes the game so unforgiving. The arcade version is oriented vertically so you have a longer time to react. Also, there aren't real bosses. The parallax effects and the sounds are beautiful though. So the game never ends? I guessed so. I only reached about a third of what we see in this video.
