50:04 - I was hit from about 10 feet away, ~1.8j (chrono'd before, then after the game because it f*kin HURT) with .32s, and about 40 RPS (also chrono'd before, then after the game because it f*kin HURT) full-auto to the back of my head ("I thought I was on semi" - which explained me getting hit a few dozen times 🙄), and my ExFog absorbed most of the hits. What you see in the video is exactly what happened to mine. Fun fact: that's the same ExFog I'm still using, three years later. I wiped off the BB marks, and that's it. Tactile controls, battery life... I turn on my ExFog just before I don my eyepro, and shut it off after I come off the field and take off my eyepro. There have been gamedays that I don't shut off my ExFog until literal hours after a game, and it's still churning out air... 7 or 8 hours later. On high. Nov's intention when he started was supposed to help the airsoft community. But he started seeing dollar signs (euro signs, sorry), and just doesn't give a shit about airsofters, only growing his bank account. Keep doing good work, Aaron.

As you know I"ve been a exfog user for years, sell a ton through my shop. It's a solid product. Now two things that I hope come across as constructive critisim. 1. the tactile button is probably my biggest grip about the unit, is it that difficult, no, but man the amount of times I thought to myself I wish there was a better button i probably couldn't count lol. Second thing. I own a shop and work for titan batteries, so my life is literally this hobby. I didn't hear about any of these updates, or at least I don't recall hearing about them. I love that you guys are constantly improving your product, but there is a good chance they just didn't realize that you guys haven't been sitting on your hands for the last few years. Before I joined titan I had no idea how many updates they had made, I think our last announcment was a version 5 (don't quote me on that), and now we are on version 9 and still looking for ways to improve it. We just quietly did things. So people don't realize how much better our batteries are compared to a few years ago. Now with all that being said, we love the product in east idaho and please let us know if there is anything else that we can do to support you man!

Thanks, and always love the constructive pointers....Yes, we didn't spend a ton of time announcing, as we just always focused on the expectation that we need to make a better quality product for our customers...As far as this guy, if he didn't know, shame on him...As someone doing a product design comparison, it was his responsibility to do it with his newest product, against our newest product. He is a designer. He knows he did damage to the unit by taking it apart, and he had the unit since day one...Publicly doing an "ExFog Killer" video against a several year old product, vs. a brand new one of his, that's fresh, means it was either insanely incompetent, or on purpose....Personally, I feel it was the latter, as if it was an honest mistake, he would have removed the video, and created a new one, with a fair comparative, especially since he was doing it under the false pretense of being objective... But yeah man, either way, I take it as a learning experience that we need to ensure we are better marketing new changes, even if it is something that we feel is just a "need" to make things move better. Especially when I'm running games, I don't have the time or inclination to keep adjusting the speed.. it's like those rotisseries from the early Aughts... I set it and forget it and run fog-free all day.

I saw an independant guy test both units and destroyed the novvy one at distance, it was that vid that sent me to exfog and I cant say how good it is. Best advice is do research and multiple videos, independent if you can but cant fault the exfog really.

Keep doing what you are doing. I always recommend Exfog to any players getting into airsoft. I’ve been using one since 2018 and I loved every time I used it. The only 2 bad parts were when I broke off the micro usb port (which you guys gave me a discount on an improved model after I said it was user error) and when it is the end of the day and I have to stop using your product. Everyone loves Exfog and barely anyone uses the Novritsch system.

I just came across this after struggling for years with fog. Just a couple of comments: On the 'tacticle' feel of the button: I'd like to see a right close up of the button, side on and see how much, if at all that it protrudes from the surface to show there's something there to feel. Although, I think once you find what speed suits you, you get it running and leave it before a round/game starts so it's more so how I'd like to see it demonstrated rather than video from range where we see someone use it that means nothing to me, personally as an end user. I still trust it but just how I would like to see it presented. The ExFog unit being criticised for 'power' and durability: I'd have pointed out that since that unit was held together with tape, it's a fair point that it's likely got air leaks which is why we weren't seeing it blow as much flour, not that it proves much. Even as a centrifugal fan, I would imagine this will still cause air leaks or pressure drops. Either way, going to find somewhere to pick one of these up and look forward to trying it. 17:30 fucking got me too!

I have one of the first batches that came out 6 years or so ago and mine still works after hundreds of hours of playtime and countless times I’ve dropped it or bumped it while I ran it on my helmet. I live in a very humid area in Virginia and it’s always kept up and I will continue to use it! A taginn round beamed my new xfog xt and the cover is not even loose, and is not any louder or damaged. I did some fabric covering it to keep it on my helmet but still it it crazy how strong these are. Great job.

I have a pre release prototype I still use to this day that runs flawless. Doesn’t even have all the new improvements the current ExFogs have. Went to an all weekend event in 90 degree humid weather a couple weeks back and no issues with my old reliable. This is too funny to watch.

Valid point about the lipo drain. My novritsch unit seems to have less battery life after leaving it on. But i also agree on most things tridos design said in their review, and it looks like you are trying to talk back to any valid fact you hear, instead of accepting criticism or clarifying the information. Also, when i open your homepage, the unit looks just about the same as in the video, nothing mentioned about which version is this, so they all look identical. My suggestion is to try specifying each model/version, so that people can see if its the same thing or not. Otherwise no one will know if and when you do upgrade anything. Cheers!

If I'm taking a proper guess, I'd say you had not seen the full video...As you will see it goes from clarifications, to clearing out outright egregious misrepresentations, in a big way...We show everything from fan upgrades, to battery specific info, to patent info, to waterproofing, to fan sound comparisons, timing comparisons, etc....If you watch the full video, you would absolutely not still agree on most things Tridos said in their review...Trust me,, I get it. He comes off as objective and honest, until you watch this full video, and see it isn't...As a designer, he knows better than to compare against an old and broken model...Only the most devote Novritsch/Tridos followers would still agree with most of what he said, if they were to see this video in full, case by case...Although yes, I agree, it does start off slow. That being said, sure they look identical because they still are. I took and inside-to-outside build/quality approach to ensure that customers were getting the best possible product on the market. One of the ways a person can play "innocence" in this, is by pretending that they didn't, or wouldn't have known....Although that would be fair for an end consumer, that would be absolutely wrong from a designer standpoint, and any competent designer would know better....Unless, of course, they were trying to hide something... Any video that shows that much bias, should be questioned if acting under the guise of being an honest breakdown....We've never hid our bias, but we certainly come with facts... Finish the full video (I know it's long), and you'll definitely see what we are getting at... Thanks for the feedback. One thing we've learned from this, is to market every improvement...We always just thought that customers deserve the best internals, so we saw it more like an expectation from us, rather than a marketing opportunity. With all due respect, you should be more careful about what you label as fact. It is not fact that a patent didn't exist, it is not fact that we use off the shelf batteries and fans, it is not fact that the battery indicator light flash and are confusing, it is not fact that the weak spot in the case by the slide was from impact. That is just a sampling. In the end he had instructions on how exfog functions since he owned it, so knew the light indicators were not working correctly. He also knew he was comparing new to used and old. No one claiming to be objective would do this.

Years ago I saw a fan unit goggle catch fire on someone's head. Faulty wiring to the lipo battery and now someone has a bald spot. Exfog is top tier in my opinion and seeing this reinforced that belief. I feel more confident that I have a SAFE quality product. I've owned my Exfog for two years now. I play in 110 degrees heat with 80% humidity. Exfog out performs everything I have ever tried. Just got the goggle adapters in. The cost was so cheap! And the exceptional quality was beyond expectation.

You should have iterated that the Novritsch battery is on the back, so after the first BB strike breaks the outer plastic, it hits the battery and could cause an explosion

I'll never carry novritsch. Dude takes advantage of new players. Novritsch brings players into the sport and then uses his influence to convince ignorant people to purchase his "superior" products. Man, it's humbling to have continued to get the amazing support we've received...Honestly, I also used to be a follower of his. He always appeared on the surface to be someone who was all about the sport. His choice in designer I'm sure comes across the same way to people until you look through it with a different lens...Although we would have still filed the cease and desist, his designer never had to go the "exfog killer" route, and could have easily just showcased his rip-off product on it's own merit. There was no reason to bring us into the conversation, and certainly no reason to compare us to a both outdated, and broken unit with added negative of having bad fan-rub as heard in the vid...He knows he should have reached out regarding patent pending statue prior to designing the unit, and his only backup is his message that he gave us after the design was completed, and Novvy was already marketing...Trying to make himself look as an innocent party, yet burying himself even deeper, even doubling down on the blinking light, which is more representation of a broken unit... To be fair, we should have marketed the internal upgrades more, but we've always just been so heavily invested in our customers getting the best quality product, we just assumed it wasn't a "marketing thing", as much as an "expectation", but seeing the stuff that gets put out these days, it's no surprise that perhaps we should have elaborated more, lol... Anyway, WAYYY to much coffee today for this book, so sorry about that! We'll continue to fight to be the best product you can get, and will do our best to remain under them price-wise as we are today, when comparing our $51.74 for an Essential Kit Plus Magnet Adapters, vs. his $59.99 for what in my personal opinion, is a sub-par, and knowingly ripped off utility...Kind Regards and Thank you!!!

Honestly the button is also probably my only gripe! I have my unit in the pouch with the clear supple plastic window + I'm wearing gloves, so I can't feel it. I'm thinking of just supergluing a googly eye or other half-sphere craft decoration onto it to feel it better! Also perhaps having a hard time knowing what power mode I'm on if at all (especially low vs off). Some ideas that come to mind would be having multiple tactile buttons, or having a small vibration motor that would go bzz thrice on high, twice on medium, once on low, none on off Great product all in all! It might be time for me to replace mine as my micro usb port has given up... 😂

All well received and we got awesome ideas planned w/o going to that dial, which we just don't plan to do from a quality standpoint. But in the meantime, we do have a resolution with the new XT Systems. When you simply push and hold for 3 seconds, it will jump to 120% and "quick clear" for 30 seconds. The good news is you know, for sure, after 30 seconds that you'll be on high... As it settles on high after the 30 seconds. But definitely other ideas planned!

Nov's design, unless you purchase their goggles also requires making a hole (they sell a hole punch with their goggles) for this very reason. The difference is that in both cases, you may have to modify the goggles, but with our magnet adapters, you aren't forced to have to secure them at the top only. In our case, you can put them wherever comfortable, or convenient. Not solely restricted to the top, or forcing tubing around the top area, or a space, where heat air trying to escape the top is more prone to blockage, etc. We also designed something that required much smaller holes, so in some cases, such as revisions, it can be pushed through, or very, very minimal modification is done. I've got shorts, and hookups now published for some, and we are actually currently working on other hookup videos for the magnets in specific, so stay tuned and enjoy! As for "normal glasses", I wish there were such a thing. Glasses fit differently on different customers, and some full seal, and some are not, and the list goes on and on. That's really odd...Also, we have a 1 yr warranty which we print in the instructions, and that's such an odd thing I would have remembered this, as we really don't get many warranty issues, nevertheless something like what you are saying here...Not sure why you'd wait to just put this out here publicly rather than have given us a chance to investigate and make right when it occurred? You've seen guys run these for years. Could be any number of things including something as simple as bent prongs if attempting to plug in upside down or we had a couple bad ones go out which is rare as we run 3 quality checks during a run but possible. The only useful bit of info that I got from the video slandering ExFog is that even if you somehow manage to get your hands on a really old and broken ExFog unit, it's still going to perform better than cheap knockoffs (i.e. Novritsch 'anti-fog' unit). 😂

Beats me, but durability, 1yr warranty vs a 14 day return window, longer battery life, custom manifolds, merv 13 filtration capability, personal service, are just a select few things that stand out... But this video wasn't about product comparisons. It was about the severely misleading information that was presented in that video. Even the biggest fan boys have to see the tactics employed in that video, and although they may like having stuff with the Nov name, and may even like his ripoff, I'd think/hope they'd recognize what happened. I don't know how much I'd want to respond to defend these kinds of business practices...

First, thanks much for the support! And although we may have people send units back for certain items (if within warranty period we'll often replace outright if something isn't right, and if outside of warranty someone may pay for shipping... But after 5 years, it's waaay out of warranty, and God knows what it's been through along with battery degradation, etc...So you wouldn't typically send something like that back... Good side is that you've got a full 1 year factory defect warranty, and it should last a long, long time...For 35 bucks, you figure I could throw about 4 grenades before lunch, and I just bought a replacement master unit... But anywhoo, I just retired my 6yr old unit after tons of abuse (was just getting tired)...Happens over time. But if outside of warranty on a future unit and your looking to upgrade, reach out to us at [e-mail] as sometimes we can help out in some way or another... As a small home based business, we certainly aren't making bunches of money, but as possible, we help out in a lot of different ways over and above what we probably should :)

The only time my exfog died on me was when it was 0 degrees F outside and i was playing a 12 hour game, it shut off around hour 10. This is because the cold makes the battery chemical reaction not work nearly as well.

Quick question guys. Can I ran your product aka the original with some sort of powerbank should I forget to charge it and with what output should I charge your unit? Normal 5W smartphone charger? Does it matter? I received mine two days ago and I can’t wait to test it

Hey Doc, thanks for reaching out. We have many players that use it with a powerbank, so that is no problem at all. We just caution to remove it from the bank when done playing. The unit has a lipo battery and should not rest on a continuous charge or full charge for more than 3 days. It should be stored on a partial charge and cycled if the unit is going to sit for more than 3 months without use. The instructions on how to cycle the battery and all these timeframes are available in the product box as well as online under resources. As for the charging cable, if you have the new XT model in the blue box, it is a usb a to usb c cable if it is an original version in the red box, then it would use a micro 2.0 charger. Both are commonly used for cell phones. Note: a usb c to usb c, which is the newest charging technology, is not compatible with the XT's and won't charge the unit.

So I ordered my exfog Saturday from Amazon and got it Sunday for paintball, I use a fast helmet with the pouch too attach to my helmet. I’m trying this system because I wear my glasses under my mask and my glasses fog sometimes. Would this actually help clear fog from my prescription glasses? Also when I tested my unit ( turning to max speed to see if I can feel it on my skin) it didn’t seem to blow as well as yours did in this video. Could the one I purchased from Amazon be the older outdated fan model?

I would think that it should be an upgraded version. Perhaps not the same manifolds as we've been doing for quite a while, but before we try anything, I'd just say to field test it as is...Even yesrs before our most recent updates we've had thousands of ballers rock this over several years. It's about regulating temp, much more than blowing a bunch of air...Actually, more air = less battery life and dryer eyes typically... But tuck the tubes in so they kind of "splash" your glasses (temple area-ish), and the rest will regulate the temp and all should be great... If not, just hit me up at [e-mail] and we'll take a look, as there will be ways to increase efficiencies, I'm sure...

It looks like ExFog now uses USB C. That is a big deal to note for me. If theres 2 more or less equivalent products and one uses USB C I'm buying that one. Even if it was say a $10 difference. My OG Logitech G Pro Wireless was the last thing I owned with Micro USB and I hated it. So much that I soldered on a USB C port lmao. Anyways after watching the first video that was a big knock on the ExFog for me. I don't ever want to dig through drawers to find the right charger again. That can stay in the early 2000's lmao. Think I'll go with ExFog. As a business owner who believes and has found success by doing right by people. All I've heard is negative things about Nov's customer service.

So as a note, it is an A to C, charger, fyi, as the higher c to c's are just too much amperage at this time, but we did knock charging down well over in half, to about 1.5 hours from complete zero to full. Fun Fact Noverich is only good at taking other peoples designs and making slight changes to make a new over hyped product. several people have noverich gear at my local field and most don't enjoy it after awhile, sorry even there guns are bought from other manufactures and modified slightly im not sure how they get away from not having tons of lawsuit issues due to copyright issues. They have ripped almost the exact design from Exfog on this unit, yes a few buttons moved but that's it, the case and line setup are so close im not sure why Exfog hasn't hit them with copyright lawsuits, in fact this unbiased video could be deemed as slander against exfog since they are using easily proved lies to slander their product.

They could have resolved this a long time ago, yet it shoes where their interests lie.
