Watching the movie made me cry because my mom outed me to my dad and my grandparents. I specifically asked her not to, and she refused to tell me their reactons. Eventually I learned my dad was homophobic at first, but my mom talked to him about it. I didnt even get to know what he was thinking then, and I still don't.
