I have an August 2017 Tata Hexa XE. It has done about 26400 kilometres during the last five years ( till 03/11/2022). All the driving was in city/highway. Last week I noticed a crack in the silencer and took the car to Tata Service Centre in Bhopal. Detailed inspection revealed five large cracks in the two portions/parts of the Tail Pipe Assembly Post Silencer and one large crack in the Assembly Main Silencer. I also learnt that this was a common problem in Tata Hexa due to which design of silencer has been changed and now comes with a single exhaust. I am surprised as to why Tata Motors hasn't recalled models with faulty parts for inspection/ replacement. I was plain lucky to have discovered the cracks by chance & replaced before complete breakdown somewhere enroute. It cost me Rs 19742/- including parts & labour. If you own a Tata Hexa please get the entire Silencer assembly checked for cracks as a precautionary measure.

even my hexa tail pipe has been broken similarly like yours and it was covered under warrenty but dual exhaust looks good in my opinion

Same issue happen in my hexa but they are saying it will not cover under extended warranty

They are making fool.. extended warranty covers all parts that are covered in normal warranty

Bhai 15 me li thi because base model hai.. second hand 9-10 me mil jyegi.. agr 2-3 saal purani hai to
