This is a great little welder. I bought it right before it went to a digital screen. I used it a ton to learn and do some snall repairs. Then about two weeks ago it just quit outta no where. Im looking to get a new one in a few months after xmas presents and bills are paid for. Love the welder though.

I bought that bugger as they were changing over and instead of the pro they sent ne the regular one. I relly would have liked the hot start and arc force(especially arc force) because the stick side doesnt work. The flux core side is beautiful. Ive let guys run it who run 3000 dollar Lincolns and they realize they paid 2800 bucks for a name instead of 200 for a better welder.

How’d you run the stick electrode in the negative keeping the ground at positive? My manual says to run the electrode on positive and keep the ground at negative .

I have tried both this pro model and the older flux 135 model, in my opinion I feel like the older one with 2 knobs runs smoother for Flux, do you think that as well or do you think I may just not be used to settings on the pro model as much?

Nice video. Been thinking about doing one of these. Did the welds seem fairly strong? And again, nice video, was very informative. Thanks.
@JeepingMo3 ай бұрын
@@wendyvic4046 thanks. The welds are strong, its a cheap way to get started. If you end up welding a lot, you can get a gas unit.

@@JeepingMo I would mainly use it so my Nephews and Nieces could "get there feet wet" and help out in my small shop. I have COPD and have to stay away from the fumes 🙄. Thank you for the response! You have a new subscriber.

Officially no. However there are companies out there that make torche that you can pipe gas to, similar to how tig is done with this. It will let you do gas mig.

@@JeepingMo No, this unit is 12VaC. Could use a 120 adapter. I bought 50' of #6 gauge and my extension cord. I paid like $0.50 per foot and it stays with my MiG 220 AC soft cord as those are no-more. Just sure you know about a 30 amp GFCI. and electrical. ASE Master

You said floor sheet metal next, at 6'3" I don't think it operate a pedal while inside a vehicle. I am lucky to get out. So, button or lift TIG only may work out for the best. I have never owned a TIG or used a foot pedal as best suited for bench work. u would think there both pro's and cons, but controlling amps is important. Mash the pedal to the full on and control amps at the machine. Also, keeping a Stainless Steel brush in zip bag to eliminate cross contamination. Factory exhaust is a 300 series SS forward of the cat and 400 series alloy in the back. Perhaps an exhaust shop is constantly pulling off near new tubing and tossed. Just bring a six-pack nice and cold. Free?
