No nonsense, no specialty tools and no product placement holy hell this is what KZbin use to be people helping people, just to give you credit where due, this is a great video and has been of great value to me repairing my exhaust. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

That is the best exhaust repair I have seen yet, don't know why I never thought to do that, well done.

I like how you use tools and supplies that the average guy would have and not just high dollar tools as in some other guys videos.

We use to just braze exhaust pipe. It worked and was neat

I agree. Brazing works well for some applications. Nowadays it has become a lost art, still very useful though.

Very nice! I would recommend removing the rust with a paint removal disc before doing the cut. These discs work quite well and by doing it before the cut, you can work faster.

Thank you!! That’s a great idea! I hadn’t thought about using paint stripping discs.

My way of doing it, i actually turn up the heat a bit, rather than down. Bc im using tack welds, more heat, full penetration for a quicker tack, then cool half a second do another and less overall heat goes in More is less imo

That way works well too.

Complete pain in the ass especially when flex pipe has to stay underneath the car🤦♂️
@Atomsinaction-uk3jw6 ай бұрын
That scenario definitely is challenging.

@Atomsinaction-uk3jw no Sereno, this afternoon I spent 3 hours under my car. Did 2 years of welding in high school 09 thought I could no problem boy was I wrong on the ground. I have more respect for Mechanics now🤦♂️🤦♂️🤣🤣

@@deej7783usually you can take hangers and flanges off and get it out from under the car to work on, yes it takes time to do this but it gets done faster in the end
