Exhaust Repack | Yoshimura RS-9T Titanium | 2017 Honda CRF450R

With around 90 hours on my exhaust system, it was due time to repack the Yoshimura mufflers. They were in much better shape than I expected, but it's a nice peace of mind to make sure the exhaust is in new-like condition!
1/17/22 will be six months post ACL surgery, I'm looking to be back on the bike in another few weeks!

Super helpful video. ( It looks like you could order the packing material from the local cheerleaders college.) My current bike is a 2015 CBR1000RR with a Yoshimura pipe and this is a first for me. I had heard about repacking but am surprised at the short interval between repacking. I am a touring only rider ( yes, on a CBR ) so I really rack up the miles.

I'm glad it's helpful for you! I agree, the intervals they suggest are really short! I think a bit overkill on something that isn't going to damage your bike. Maybe go more by how the bike feels and sounds for your intervals. I mean if you rev it and it blows out packing, that could be a clear indicator haha. Enjoy the CBR!

Thank you! When I first put the bike away before surgery I drained the fuel out of it. I only added in fuel recently to start it up a few times.
