Complaining about trans athletes when there are so few of them competing at the high school or collegiate level. Complaining about the border when what's going on there doesn't affect them. Being up in arms over gender reassignment when they aren't the ones changing their gender. I live in Southern California, roughly 120 or so miles from the border. I probably pass by more transgendered people in a month than someone in Missouri does in a lifetime. I encounter more undocumented people each day than someone in Missouri might in a month. What someone does in Missouri does not affect my paycheck or my life. I would hope that the same would apply for those living in Missouri regarding events in California. This "culture war" stuff is so silly and makes no sense.

Honest questions: 1- What (beyond reparations) would satisfy us? 2- what are our "demands?" 3- Realizing that we're electing a president (and not a genie), what should we expect a political party to do for us? 4- Have the Republican party passed any significant legislation for Black people? When the Affordabie Care Act was passed, Black people were able to get insurance, too. When Biden passed an Infrastructure Bill, Black people traveled on the roads and bridges too; when he introduced student loan forgiveness, Black students benefitted from it too. Granted, in the past (pre-Civil Rights), whites were given preferential treatment by the government and still benefit from it, but to say/think one party doesn't do better for Blacks than the other is disingenuous (in my opinion).
