Untrue on the HP for the S model. It's sold as 575 from Benz stating this. Amg does not let their hp comparisons out. if you check the Renn Tech Dynos for this car it actually dynos out at 605 hp.

3 months ago i watched this video to make a decision to keep my m5 f10 which i still loved or go for the 2015 cls amg 63s so now i went with the 63s amg cls lol i had too it's a beautiful car outside and in..i love the 360 camera and effortless power, the vehicle is so sound that i don't have no interest to floor it, or push it..im a street racer that turned to a grandpa driver in this car...but I do miss my m5 f10 and will get that particular model over the f90 the m5 f10 and m5 e60 or cult iconic status in my honest opinion...far is my new cls amg unfortunately i will have to upgrade the audio and infotainment system because the karman is lacking for some reason..but still great sound quality but lacks the thump that the m5 f10 karman has maybe because of the size difference....overall this particular model is a legend and must have i choose the 2015 cls amg 63s over a 2018 m5...it's bigger better looking exterior, bold presence on the highway a simple stage 1 tuned will do the work and it's a perfect road trip vehicle with great leg room, I'm 6ft 4 217LBS and i don't cramp up nor do i get driving fatigue with lumber and leg support, it's worth my 700 plus monthly payment lol

The Cls63S had 550 hp, never 577 hp. Same for the E63S. Nothing changed from the 2012 -13 model to the face lifted 2014-17’ MY’s except that awd. 2012-13 was base and P30 performance pack which bumped power from 516 hp to 550 hp and small tq bump too. And Torque was also, around 550 lb-ft. ( Not ft-lbs as so many idiots) and speed shops say. You can’t put one foot into one pound but you can put one pound into one foot. Anyway, Benz had to find a way to justify the huge price increase of the awd and S badging, since there really was nothing other than awd for the most part. It came down to marketing and advertising. So they just slightly retuned the trans shift points by a few hairs to make it FEEL quicker. Reality is it’s not. The 2018 E63S brought a magnificent 9 spd trans and no off line lag before power hit which is why the newer 2018 E63S can blast to 60 in under 3.3 sec vs 3.7 sec for the pre 2018 model CLS63S and E variant. These two ironically only weighed about 45-75 lbs apart. Not enough to differ in performance. I will say though that in roll runs, the 2012-23 rwd versions were quicker once rolling above 50 mph. 160 lbs lighter too. And this weight is why the old F10 M5 from 2016 can beat the last CLS63S or E in all performance measurements because it was said to be closer to 600-620 hp stock despite its rwd back then. That kind of power difference is evident in the 1/4 trap speed and 60-130 and 0-130, 0-150… >> the 0-60 was about the same in the F10 M5 rwd as it was in them2017 CLS63S/E63S. That old F10 M5 would just dust the AMG 63S models once above 80… and sadly today, you can go buy a M550xi with manufacturer claim of 523 hp (which is closer to 560 hp) that’ll hit 60 in 3.5 sec and tune the M550 and acceleration will be iin the 2.8 sec range which is I n the F90 M5 Comp zone. BMW seems to under rate while AMG over rated their power.

CLS AMG63 S Undoubtedly the most amazing car I've owned. I've also owned the E 500 and S 430. MB has made a huge mistake. The CLS is 100% made for the Alpha Male hands down. The entrance and Elegance of a unmatched driving machine with Guts and Glory and Super Sport to 14 computers operating simultaneously to give you a driving ability like no other automobile can offer from the exhaust to the seat hugging you tightly as you corner with Grace while blowing past race bikes etc....E Class E-214 is what I bought my wife for Christmas. Hey Kevin, this is off topic but I need your advice man. I live in Canada I'm 20 years old and we have some gruesome winter weather to go through. I'm purchasing my first vehicle, and I'm in the market for a Lexus. I test drove a 2017 Lexus RX350 CPO fully decked out with the Mark Levinson and Panoramic roof and fell in love with the way it drove. I don't care for going fast, I just want to be comfortable in my vehicle and have something reliable with some sexy styling with it. That said, I do like the looks of the 2019 ES a lot, but I question the capabilities of its handling in the winter with the FWD. I know they put out a 250 AWD for 2021, but that is way too expensive for me, considering it is a new vehicle and, to be honest, I just want an adequate V6. It is more than enough for me. I'm just fed up with driving my father's Dodge Journey 4 cylinder. I have driven my family's SUV and there's a preconceived notion that if you drive a sedan in the winter and get into an accident, you will most likely die & so will your passengers. 😂 All jokes aside, what do you think. Lexus RX350 2017 vs ES350 2019 given the horrible weather and the likelihood of a sad death?

I didn’t like the face lift for 2015+ on these. Or the E. They all got the same lower bumper/grille/side scoops. Makes them all look like the CLA and A class and now of course they’ve adopted the ugly cheap A class front head lights and tail and real tablet dash. These things aren’t vehicles of personal transport they looking more and more like video games and yet more and more ability to DRIVE the vehicle is being taken away. Humanity is being dumbed down rapidly. Humanity will be controlled by AI bots by 2035 I hear from a tech bud at a top tech development co. Just think the movie Terminator and you’ll know exactly what’s coming, 100%. And actual advanced internet system just went online secretly about a few yrs ago and its ironically called “sky net”, sound familiar??? And a company just built a small 3 ft tall humanoid robot out of soft metal that can liquify, shape shift and squeeze through a small 3-4” gap then reform into a solid just like in Terminator II. They market this stuff as good and must have but it’s 100% the opposite. Work on AI must be throttled or stopped for another 30-50 yrs to study it but no, they have to get it out right away without understanding it or how to control it whatsoever ever. The Georgia stones that I hear got ruined awhile back described the world as having no more than 500 million people by 2035 and 5-7 languages at most.

Have you seen the EQC SUV? First full on EV for the states I believe it's already out in other countries. But you're, right will be cool to see a performance EV more mainstream aside from the insanely expensive Taycan

@@MeynMotorGroup I'm going to have to check that out yesterday I saw Karma car so yea I think we're in the future and judging by the way the EPA is cracking down on emissions I think this is it for big v8s.I guess it's really safe to say that this is officially the last of a dying breed.

@@MeynMotorGroup ofcourse. I don’t know if you’re a fellow New Yorker but great review. Question for you. What are the maintenance costs for these? I hear this engine is pretty reliable but wanted to hear your thoughts.

@@elip.982 😅 it’s an NC State hat and the problem with most of these high end euro cars is the crazy suspension part costs and I guess parts cost in general I think like one of the shocks alone is over $10k you’re def playing with fire here unless you buy it CPO with extended warranty. Leasing a new Mercedes is really the best way to go
