2020 Lexus ES 350 Review: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eHSbe4KjpMl7lZI

I myself own a 2008 clean es 350 and I always recommend lexus to everyone I know. For the price and compared to any other luxury company no one beats lexus. I will never own another car besides lexus again. If my lexus didn't drive so nice and smooth I would buy a newer model but I still get compliments on mine and how clean it is. Such an all around well made car.

Out of curiosity - did/does using the infotainment system with the touchpad require taking your eyes off of the road for an extended period of time or is it similar to the amount of time needed for a touch screen interface?

I’ve had an 2016 NX, an 18 RX, 22 RX and 19 ES, and I still absolutely hated all of the mouse pads. The 2019+ newer mouse pad is much improved now, but the older swivel rectangle mouse control in the older 2014-2018s models were just atrocious.

I've had a 2004 LS 430 for almost 8 years now. The build quality on this vehicle impresses me every single time I drive it. There are no leaks of any kind. Everything works. The only repair I've had during my ownership is a fuel pump. Everything else I've done is maintenance only. That said I'm considering getting a "newer" LS, probably jumping over the LS 460 altogether and going straight into the LS500. Over the last several months I've been reading and watching videos about the ES line too. In particular the ES300h and it seems to a tremendous value, especially when compared to the LS500. I have yet to test drive either one yet, but at this time the ES seems to make more sense all around.

Kevin great review. Turns out i sold my 2013 ES350 which only had 42k miles and just bought a 2002 Lexus ES300 black on black base model. The interior is flawless, I don’t think anybody ever sat in the backseat possibly even the passenger seat. It’s missing the adaptive sport suspension and electronic rear shade options. I would’ve liked the sports suspension option because the ride is definitely a little on the mushy side. But the build quality is amazing it’s still feels solid everything still works even at 160,000 miles. It’s got two sets of tires, the front are almost new 2 years old based on the sidewall code ultra high-performance all season Sumitomo and the rears are Pirelli’s P4 standard all season which are 4 years old but have about 50 % tread remaining. These would not be the tires that I would choose but certainly not gonna go out and change them now.

Lexus(es?) are usually purchased not leased. BMWs, Audis, Mercedes Benzes and Jaguars are usually leased, not purchased. Edit: Lexus and/or its customers are not claiming that the ES is a sports sedan. The F-Sport model only makes it a *tad* sportier and firmer riding, a little more responsive (throttle, steering and suspension).
@MeynMotorGroup3 жыл бұрын
F sport is a waste on the ES just get the Luxury trim

Real talk review, subscribed! Anyway, I love my 2017 Mazda3 MT but the NVH is so bad when we were in Autobahn. No issues with it, ultra reliable but the cabin noise got me thinking to trade to ES300h or 3 series touring, probably next year if all is well. I’m leaning a bit to Lexus due to BMW’s famous plastic internals which can be a disaster if you’re not proactive in maintenance.

To be honest I’ve never been an ES fan, if I wanted the ultra comfort daily I would get a LS, if I want a Sport F sport I would get a IS350 F sport or a ISF.... granted they are reliable cars but if I had to choose I would have a Lc500 inspiration series as my weekender and a 2023 ISF or 2022 IS500 F performance as my daily or I would get a used LS500 Executive for the price of a new ES

@@MeynMotorGroup my Lexus dealer says if I want an inspiration series to let them know. I’m torn between the first Gen LC convertible inspiration series in the blue/white or for the 2022 LC500 coupe inspiration series that was revealed at Sebring, the wing it comes with looks dope, not to mention the extra alcantera it comes with.

I like the dimensions of the ES, but I would like a performance version of the ES, just call it the ES500.

That would be interesting 😆

I got an ES loaner when I serviced my LS460 in 2019 and I couldn't WAIT to get back to my car. ES felt incredibly cheap and I HATED the mousepad. I just traded my LS460 for a G90 and I'm very happy. Miss the air suspension on the LS, but otherwise it has everything I wanted: big, comfortable, silent.

Isn't the ES300h slow to drive?

What are your thoughts on the 2023 Lexus IS 600 F sport?

Why do all performance cars be critical based on sports like ablity? How about luxury have its own performance based metrics to do comparison on?

Glad they're still making them. #sedanman

Have 2019 ES 300h, worth it to replace wheels with new 18 inch quieter ride ones?
@MeynMotorGroup3 жыл бұрын
Nah you should be ok I wouldn't pay up for it

Why they dont have 4 wheel drive? At less rear wheel drive
@MeynMotorGroup3 жыл бұрын
Even if they had it you wouldn't buy it hence why they stopped making the more expensive GS

I like your reviews, but I did not understand your comment about Mazdas.

A 20 to 30k Mazda offers almost all the refinement, comfort, and luxury of other far more expensive luxury cars

needs to darken chrome trim on fsport and needs pano roof, my opinion!
