So this is supposed to tbe the beginning of groove metal? This song right here? The only one from the demos that showed up on The Law. (We're not looking at Slaughter in the Vatican, because it's thrash.) I guess that riff at 0:30 could be kinda considered groovy, but I would say it's just thrash played a bit slower. The rest is pretty much normal thrash. No, sorry, Pantera did it first. Case closed.

The opening track from this is also on "The Law" under the title "Incontinence", all others are on Slaughter in the Vatican with the exception of "Ripping Flesh", that turns up on their 3rd studio album "Mourn the Southern Skies", another fucking great Exhorder album!!

Oh, Exhorder is a great band, no doubt about it, I just don't think they were first in groove metal. But strong second is still good. But regardless, I prefer Vatican. I'm more of a thrash kid.@@RandomeGuy872
