Idk about other people out there but EXID is honestly in my top gg list. They are known for 2 or 3 songs but they genuinely have such a fun discography it makes me sad they are very underrated. They are also self produced and the rapper (LE) composes and writes most of the lyrics.

This!! In 2017, I was watching random fancams from that year’s KCON NY and stumbled across their performance. I was sooo impressed by their stage presence and live vocals/rapping that I had to find out more. They are the first girl group I became a fan of and 7 years they are still my favorite!

Kerry your girl was Hani, in the striped cardigan! They debuted within a few weeks of EXO, so mixing them up with 2nd gen is understandable, they belong to the era of groups that I often think of as 2.5 gen alongside others like Apink, Block B, AOA, BAP, BTOB, NU'EST and VIXX. You heard the last song Fire on stream, that's why it's familiar haha The leader is actually the main vocalist in the center, Solji, but you were right about Jeonghwa in green being the maknae! LE/Elly is the charismatic rapper, the goofy one on the end you thought was the leader is actually the second youngest Hyelin (my bias) and of course Hani in stripes is the face of the group who catapulted them to fame with her viral fancam! Btw Hani has a song with Mamamoo's Solar and f(x)'s Luna that I think you'd enjoy called Honey Bee!

their greeting is actually the name of their debut song (thought they had different main vocalists at that point), which they didnt do (they didnt do any song in the kv from before up&down, which I've always thought was a shame. they should at least have done "every night". everyone loves every night. its the law). exid is a really fun group to get to know, not only do they have great music with incredible & fun music videos, theyre great entertainers, and every fact you learn about each of them is so interesting and cool. if you enjoy their style and sound, hopefully you'll continue to get into them even if slowly, and catch yourselves becoming leggos~~ ^^ one fun fact from me to you this time is that Jeonghwa, in green, indeed the maknae, was a child actress before starting her training as an idol under JYPE! and she's an actress again now too.

Hyerin always looks lost and panicked bc she looks around a lot and rly opens her eyes.... its bc she has rly bad vision and is known to forget lyrics and her turns a lot xD she needs to be looking at the lyrics screen

I've been trying to put you on to EXID for so long because they genuinely are right up your street. Like a mix of Mamamoo and (G)I-DLE but they predate both. Solji (middle in blue) is one of my favourite kpop lady vocalists

Enjoying, admiring, & appreciating your reaction to EXID; thanks to your this reaction, I've got to know they appeared on Killing Voice. Btw, I characterize them as 4 A's & P---they seem to be Adorable, Affable, Amiable, Amicable, & Personable based on just their gestures while singing & their external appearance. But their vocals should not be taken lightly or perhaps faintly comparable to that of Mamamoo? Incidentally, I love your dimension of the video, much bigger than anyone else's ones!
