I keep reading people saying "This isn't Judea!" Those people need to check the calendar. It's been 10 years. How can they possibly expect a bunch of artists to stay doing the exact same things they did when they were 17? I would go nuts trying to do that, and I'm nowhere near as talented and full of ideas as IG is. While I have my concerns about the mainstreaminess of this track, I recognise that they are really trying to expand their oeuvre and that's great. Taking risks can end badly, but it's a sign of cowardice to never try anything new.

I dont see the difference here. I admit its a little lighter.. but its still THEM. it reminds me of the song GINGER. Jazzy and poppish, but still them. I love the girls, all of them. Not sure why you people are saying Miko should shut up. Shes the back up singer and side guitarist, im pretty sure the girls want her to have the spot light a bit more and tell the "fans" shes not just the pretty face in the band. You guys need to respect all the members. What is most is important is the band's mood. By the looks of it the girls are enjoying themselves. I mean fuck, even Omi smiled and she never smiles. lol A happy band, means more music in the future and more songs from them means happy and satisfied fans. Yes, i agree, the point is maybe a band is meant to please their fans, or, here they changed their style so we can think they change it to be more successful, turning commercial and i think fan can criticize this behaviour. Thats why they are angry, but this music is good in my opinion, if we feel that they did style changed music with their heart and not for money, we cannot criticize them.

Alright!!! So this MV for me was actually alright.I do prefer more older sounds and MVs but this video is way better than Diamond. The quality looks a bit more realistic here than in their last one. The sound is different, but I like it...it's cool. It sounds like it would be in an anime or something. Overall, I like the other 2 songs (Antique Doll, and especially Yume ni Kiss wo) in this album are a bit better. In fact I posted the full versions of them if you search it on youtube. Who cares if it's not their old dark style? And rather they are doing a dark type genre and a pop like genre, they are still Exist Trace. They are simply trying something new and it's refreshing. Many artists do it. But unlike most Exist Trace can actually pull it off. So why complain? And what's wrong with Miko's singing? She has an amazing voice.

I know there are people out their with different taste than me. People are entitled to their own opinions. They don't have to like the way Exist Trace is going. I'm mainly saying it to those who act like Exist Trace is the first band to do this. Which a lot of japanese bands tend to go a pop route. I get Exist Trace may be somewhat different where they started out with a dark look. And no you asking me why do I still like this wouldn't be ignorant of you. And to each their own about Miko's voice. Her voice and as bad as people make it out to be.

Wow everyone is commenting about how they hate Miko singing honestly I have no problems with it, sure maybe she doesn't have a strong powerful voice like Jyou does but I think her voice compliments Jyou's very nicely and it adds depth to their sound and I really don't think she deserves nearly as much hate as she's getting! They're still a great live act, but you can really feel that Tokuma influence on their newer releases. Still some songs here and there where you can tell they had some freedom to experiment, but the singles... at least they seem to be having fun.

As much as I love them trying new things I like the old Exist Trace better. This is starting to get too girly for me. I fell in love with this band because they were playing in the male dominated JROCK with that exact same "HARD ROCK" style. This song makes me feel like I'm listening to one of those girl idol bands. This band is really following down the same path Kuroyume did music-wise. If you don't know about Kuroyume, they're a band based in the Nagoya prefecture. They started out with goth metal then switched to pop-rock, then hard-rock, then back to a more "poppy" sound with some gothic elements. This is the exact path Exist Trace is starting to go down, genre-wise.

Lot to say about that music video... Some people would hate, saying "where is old exist trace ? what the fuck are they doing ? they do shit music ! they do shitty pop !". Some people would love, saying "oh my god so beautiful ! I love you !". Those are the kinds of comments I hate, because it's not constructive and it doesn't help them at all to know what's good and what's bad. Those kind of comments have lack of respect. Those are fake fans. What are real fans ? They analyse. I don't like the music video, it's weird and not in a good way. Some things are interesting too, there is good ideas. The worst is the green screen, it was really badly done again. I hate the singing masks, they are pretty creepy to me. But I like the steampunk style. What about the sound ? Honestly, I really like it. It's a good sound, mixed with something new. Instruments are pretty good, very nice to listen. But there is one thing I really don't like. Voice. Not Jyou's voice. Jyou's voice is one the best voices I've ever heard, maybe the best female's rock voice. But it seems like she was kind of shut down. To make us listen more Miko's voice. I don't hate Miko. I like her. She has good ideas, she seems to be a nice person who wants to help her friends and comrades in the band. But I really don't like her voice. It sounds like she's trying to sing, that she's forcing her voice. I would like her to stop doing that. Stop forcing yourself. Miko's voice is nice, but not for rock sound. Jyou has a rock voice. Miko has a sweet voice. She must do like she did in JUST ONE. Her voice was really beautiful and amazing. She doesn't need to be on the front to be great. She must stay behind Jyou. She doesn't know already how to really sing. So until that time, she should stay behind. I'm sure she can do great things. But not as rock voice. To sum up... I like the music. I like the song. But I dislike the video. Some things are great. Some things are bad. But THIS IS IGU ! This is their New World, and jeez, never forget that ! If you follow IGU with your heart and your soul, never forget it's NEW WORLD. I'll never stop to support them. I wish them the very best. All hail exist trace ! And girls, don't stop doing what you love to do.

Agreed, you know we share a view on miko's singing skills and where she needs to focus. I personally love when she uses her sound as a counterbalance to Jyou, like in Little Mary, rather than trying to go heel-to-heel with her and sounding forced.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but I believe that loving band will also be making a constructive critique. Not because I LOVE this band, I have to accept all of them work with the same furor of other jobs. The sound is enjoyable to listen to, but I still prefer a slightly heavier sound as in "Daybreak" or "Vanguard". To say that a person does not love the band or is not a true fan, why not likes the work is to be superficial. I LOVE this band and always will, but that is why I love what I speak of what I disliked. So I will always support the band

I say that saying ONLY "I love" or "I hate" is not being a true fan. Because that kind of comment is not constructive. Everyone has his opinion, of course. But you can't be a real fan if you don't explain why. This is what I explain in my comment. Fake fans don't explain. True fans do. I love this band, they're my favorite ever and they'll always be. Even if I dislike, hate, like, love things in what they create. But whatever it is, if you are a true fan, you must explain. I bought the CD too, and I don't won't to listen the other songs until I get it in my hands. They are, certainly, this is why they created this New World. I really like Omi's solo, but I'm finding it harder and harder to look forward to new releases as they continue to get softer and softer. I've seen them live twice and they're pretty amazing, so I will always be a fan, but I'm really hoping they come with some harder stuff eventually/soon. At least I can go back and listen to their back catalog whenever I want to hear something with a bit more bite. Also, Miko needs to sing a lot less. She is not at a level where she should be anything other than backup vocals. I get that she is super talented and writes, etc. but sometimes you gotta get your head out the clouds and face reality.

Some people always be hatin', but this music is really great. It's funny how people can hear POP here, when it's pop like in -100000%. I'm not a follower of singing miko as well because to me it kinda feels like Jyou is being sidelined, but sometimes she sings really well. Most importantly, what band ALWAYS plays the same kind of music? If they were playing hard music, like before, Judea, SACRIFICE BABY or idk, I'm just sure, there would be haters, like 'omg can't they play something new? they're so boring!' It is upsetting that Exist Trace changed their sound in my opinion. But some people like it and thats okay. yes, i actually like that idea. i've listened to exist trace for 7 years, i think, and i thought Twin Gate was the peak. after that, the music shifted into something that is not "exist trace"... at this point, i think they should change the name. i've moderated both groups on facebook for years but now i've "employed" a new moderator because they've become more and more... not my style. i'll post events and make creative cover photos of their new styles and create documents of reviews... but i leave posting their new songs and casual pictures up to the other moderator... because i've lost that intimacy -_-. they are all around foreign to me now. a name change would be very good....

This isn't the Exist Trace that I fell in love with...This sounds just like some sort of wonky wannabe rock Jpop band. I'm sad that there is no more hard rock/metal sounding songs with these girls. They did it so well. Just sounds like selling out. ...and I really can't stand Miko's singing...Furthermore, she's supposed to be the leader of the band (I read), and it just seems like she's using that power to be the center of attention and giving the finger to the other members. But that's just how I feel about it.

I'm sure that it is this too, but I find it odd that Miko suddenly made her debut as a vocalist along side Jyou not too long after they went major. But that's just me. I really do hope for the best for them, but I really do wish that they had stuck more to their roots because, as far as I am concerned, that's what made them awesome.

Yea, I had thought of that too. Its pretty sad that this happens all the time (doesn't matter which country). Why do girls have to be running around in a dress and frilly hair to rock? I don't get it. But in all seriousness, I get where that is coming from...Most of the other members are pretty androgynous looking. ...But you'd think they could at least give Miko just more camera shots instead of her screaming like a cat in heat. (I'm sorry! I really dislike her singing voice!) I'll give them another shot after this release I think, but if this continues, I think I will just disappear.

kamikenji Like, Omi kicks major ass and she doesn't look girly at all, but because she doesn't Miko is "the better player" to the record labels. And while I liked the dual vocals in Little Mary and Ginger, I like when Jyou was the only vocalist. Some bands like MoNoLith can really pull off dual vocals, while other bands really cant and this is a prime example of not being able to.

Their looks are really misleading to the genre they're playing. I was hoping that they were going back to their "harder" stuff when I saw their new pictures released, but I was kind of disappointed. Also, I'd like Miko to stop singing!! I was okay with it in a couple of songs, but all the time is too much now. It's like she's trying to get all the attention by being the leader, a guitarist, and now a singer. It's like she's trying to prove that she's better than the other girls, though I'm sure that's not what she's doing that's just what it seems like in my opinion. It's unfair to give so much attention to one band member, everyone just needs to have their own one part. And now, it's kind of like Jyou isn't recognized as the vocalist because there's two singers. Jyou's part is being run over pretty much. It makes me kind of sad :/

Yep, that's pretty much my reaction: poor Jyou, it's like she's not allowed to use the amazing vocal talent that brought them to the forefront in the first place. So sad. On the other hand, the two other tracks on the single, particularly Yume ni Kiss wo, show her off a lot better.

I know bands cant always stay the same , but dang I love old exist trace you know, thats what drew me in, miko, her voice is nice I guess but its kind of the typical voice youd hear among japanese female singers ( that I've heard) ...the soft, cutie, girly one , the reoson I liked exist trace was because of jyou (did I spell that wrong? ) anyways her voice is stronger, just idk I mean even thier pv, dang this looks too much ...im not gonna hate, just not likeing this

Well it's true that they totally change after true, but that's the meaning of becoming famous, they have to try new things to attract people, personally I don't dislike so much the voice of Miko. Sadly VK is dying but appreciate that these gurls are doing their best!!!
