Since you’ve reached this video, it must be really that hard point where you don’t know what to do? You must be good in studies/job etc but you feel detached, there’s no motivation right? I’ve been going through this shit since 1 year. My EC started when I was contemplating about God. Since I am Hindu, it’s alright with us to follow whichever God we are comfortable with, even though we have our own set of Gods. I tried praying to my Gods - Krishna, then Jesus and at times Allah. (No one answers though lol). Which God is real? What is true? Who am I? What is life? What is life after death? What is consciousness? etc etc. Now talking practically, I’ve started noticing patterns when does my EC occur. Honestly EC sucks. It’s the worst. I also have anxiety and depression. Anywayyy, I’m learning to deal with it. So I do few things which help me get over EC really quick and by implementing this my EC episodes have drastically reduced from a point where I was 24/7 into EC. 1. Acceptance - it’s okay you don’t need to understand your existence. Just imagine like this - universe that is made up all the atoms, chemicals, matter chose to come together in the form of human and become conscious. Means, you are the universe. Means you are non different. Just get up, look outside the window, say to yourself - I am here and I am here to do my duty and learn. Means live in the moment. Look at your hands, touch your face, everything is real. You are here and you are alive. Thats it. Nothing else. 2. Motivation - often people w EC become detached with materialistic things. And that’s okay. Its like, okay i don’t want that big car, I don’t want that house, everything is anyway temporary. Right it is. Here - do something that will benefit others. Eg i like to think, my pursuing this degree I’ll earn and open a free mental health institute for everyone. Or I’ll earn and help the needy etc. Basically, the feeling of helping others works in my case for motivation. 3. Even if you are a student, try and get a job or part time. It’ll take your mind off and the EC episodes won’t even pop up, if you are busy, honestly. Well, on a spiritual level, EC happens because of your years and years of materialistic life and enjoyment of desires, you are ready for move on from this to your next destination and as he said, move towards that supreme consciousness. Anyway, honestly it does getting better you know. You’ll come out more mature, more understanding. Don’t worry you are not alone, talk to a therapist if possible. All the best.

I am 18. And I too don't know what I am doing. How will meditation fill in the gaps of the things which are missing in my life? I don't wanna continue my college anymore. Oh, it's too far and I've lost interest. I just need good and loving people around me. If I quit college, what else will I do? But if I continued without addressing the root problem, then it would be exactly like my school time- a time pass. Subjects are of my choice, but I just can't continue with life anymore. I feel like a burden on earth sucking the resources of my parents. I NEED A HUG! I need the fuel called LOVE. Everything will be solved then. But either I have high standards, or I have become someone unable to receive and accept love, or I have never come across the right people, idk. Oh God, please, do some miracle! 🙏

I think it is good sometimes to feel these things because it forces us to seek what is really our purpose, many people are satisfied with material pursuits and that is ok for them, but for someone like me and you it seems we won't be satisfied untill we find real deep meaning and purpose in life and for me feeling desperation and not being fulfilled with material gains has led me to finds meditaion and the spiritual path and in meditation Yiu really can start to access that purpose that supreme fulfilment. From my experiences so far in life I feel the spiritual journey is the only true purpose

And another example where quantum mechanics is completely misunderstood by someone "spiritual". Sorry, but no physicist would say that matter is in the end "mental", this attribution is not valid at all. There's no physical explanation for consciousness, that's why it's called the hard problem.
